What I think is going on here is that someone has intercepted Rasputins comms. Rasputin has noticed the breach. He is pulling all sensitive intel back from deployed operational assets (Warsats) to remedy any intel leak that may jeopardize Humanity. At first he has difficulty pinging an asset near Mars and then near Saturn. He successfully pulls data from Terra (Earth), Luna (Moon), Mars, and Venus. However, his query into Saturn fails and he is going to enact a protocol that I can only assume destroys the asset or crashes it for local retrieval and wipe.
The other thing that bugs me is that Mars was initially having trouble as well... maybe more will be revealed. Or that's the source of the breach... the Psion Flayers and such.
The comms appear to be getting more corrupted every time this entity makes an edit as if they've been compromised. Possible Charlemagne corruption on Mars? See below reply for transcript due to lack of OP space. It's exactly the same as far as I can tell, just garbled.

5 RepliesMy theory on getting one of the exotics: You know in the Cayde's Stash mission, there's a secret area (Cayde's secret room) and some extra dialogue when you enter it? There's also a card in there that you can scan. When you do, he says something about the way he organized the different weapon types with certain cards. Omolon was diamonds, I forgot what Hakke was, and I think he said Crux Lomar was Spades. But he also said one other thing: That he used the hearts for a girl he loved, and I believe it's none other than Ms. Mystery herself, the Stranger. The card in that room is not the only one in the mission either. I've discovered another one by the bridge, and some other people have probably discovered the others. I think that you need a fireteam of three, one person has Fabian Strategy(Hakke), the other one would have Tlaloc(Omolon), and the last person would have Ace of Spades or Truth(Crux Lomar). You would shoot the cards that correspond to the weapon brand or do something with them. But there's one last thing: the hearts. You would do the same thing you would do with the other cards, but with the Stranger's Rifle. What happens after that I don't know. Lemme know what you guys think.

What about the public events? They have no purpose now but they do spawn warsat missions. Might be something to look into like complete so many on a planet etc.... just throwing an idea out here.

6 RepliesMy friend swears that a Warsat public event spawned in the breach on the Dreadnaught. I didn't believe him really, but he said he was grinding materials for about an hour and a half and the event spawned. I've sat around for like twenty minutes before and the "enemy moves against each other" event spawns periodically so maybe every now and then a Warsat event spawns too. Just a thought.

Just an observation here. Anyone else notice the diamond Taken King missions as opposed to the star missions? I've done three on Heroic and two had an Echo of Oryx, while the other contained Daughters of Oryx. Interesting.

4 RepliesI may be mistaken since it has been a while. But i recall a very early mission in vanilla destiny that had to do with retrieving golden age relics. You had to scan a computer screen if i recall correctly. Then there was always the mission the last array, that seemed odd. And then we have the archives. Strangest part of this sleeper simulant quest is the crashed ship people mention Everyone thinks its on earth. But what about the crashed ship by the archives in the courtyard where fallen and vex are fighting. Plus archives as the ghost says is the largest collection of golden age relics. Were missing something here. And its odd bungie said to replay the story again. Even stranger still is the strangers rifle, that became a legendary...that you could only upgrade with marks. Forcing you to wait until the dlc drop. But even maxxed it does no damage in the dlc even from the start. Are we supposed to replay the original vanilla story using it. It does say its made from parts from the future or something. Maybe if you beat the game with it equipped as a legendary and maxxed it will trigger something. Who knows

Interesting note. In the Hall of Whispers, I never knew that when you zoom in on the power lines powering those flood lights, they show up as highlighted. Nothing else tho. Perhaps the clue can be, 1. HereAfter highlights active high power feeds. 2. Fallen caches everywhere, but remember, you still have the codes from the Caydes Stash mission. 3. I put two an two together... 4. Look for any fallen caches thru your HereAfter Scope, it may highlight.

4 RepliesI've been keeping up w all these post and updates and I really feel like we re on to something I put in about 6 hours of hunting and exploring but I'm unable to see anything, the vex gate that's missing is odd, the missing warsats, and all the connections, some of these missions have already come and gone, so if the daily is any of these we should spend as much time as it takes in these missions w a fire team exploring. I can't wait until someone finds a legit clue that leads to somthing. It would be awesome if it was me lol good luck guardians. Maybe we will get lucky here in the next hour and get a mission worth looking into, and if anyone wants to play through the main story again this weekend in the name of research I'm down. I guess we need to wait for it to become the daily. The Ishtar Archives can be accessed only trough the mission. All that apears to me as a part of the quest itself, but not how to find it or trigger it. Also COMSAT-RELAY[b]ST[/b]07-3C61 leads me to believe that Rasputin established a connection to Terra (Earth), Luna (moon), Venus and Mars, but there is the one from the deep space ST (as in Saturn) that failed. I think that there might be some sort of Warsat event on the Hive ship. Remember the Warsat that crashed into the ship during the opening animation? :O EDIT* Trolls or not, but I think I might have found something that confirms the connection of hidden patrols with the Sleeper S. I will try to get into it when I come home from work. Iam almost 100% positive that patrols are the starting point for the Sleeper quest. The ?????? ????? Gave me a scrap map piece, but I paid no attention to it back then. I found it around the 15th or 16th september. Turned it to Ikory and moved on. Was never able to find the ?????? ????? patrol mission on Venus ever again. My tip for you guys is to do patrol missions in the Ember Caves and Citadel. I will no try to do patrols on the moon. 3 Repliesr/searchforthesleeper has confirmed the vex gate to be missing post 2.0 and unrelated to the Rasputin-esque posts by Lupin Datamining has found the four DVALIN relics as quest steps with "Turn in to Banshee" requirements and confirmed there are only 4 DVALIN relics The next step is to "Find the transceiver signal's source" which seems to correlate to a mission that occurs in Rasputin's bunker (not one that is currently accessible from the director) called "The First Firewall" The focus now is on the trigger for accessing that mission. Wether that lies in patrol, or is timed on a daily heroic. There is code that dictates a time-delay which shows that it is currently available (delay=0) but that does not account for it being daily heroic as a requirement.
