I know what you're doing. It's nice trying to encourage people to join fireteams... but now in 2 days i have 4 bounties I can't claim without a fireteam.
*EDIT* I understand that playing in a group is more fun and I am not against that at all. However if your friends aren't available and you don't feel like joining randoms it's kinda messed up you are basically getting indirectly penalized.

Dont pick them and wait for the Crucible bounties from the vendors on tuesday
-
I have five real life friends that play Destiny. I was invited to a fireteam when the VoG dropped and became friends with them, and their friends and so on. It is possible.
-
Yep they are bullshit, what they are doing is getting solo player to try to convince their friends to buy the game... It's all mother-blam!-ing marketing man... Greedy ass mother-blam!-ers...
-
-
I mean they made the game with co-op in mind
-
3 RepliesHere's an idea and I know it might be like the most unexpected thing but... don't pick them up and dismantle the ones you already have. Also... make friends with randoms. It is possible.
-
How? The bounties are so mindlessly easy now if the most penalizing thing is have a second person with you then your the reason we have those bounties and not the ones we had at launch.
-
Get some friends..
-
1 ReplyThey're not trying to get you in fireteams and clans because they want you to have fun. They want you to have friends on the game. That way you don't play the game because it's good you play it because your friends play it. You will look past the mediocrity for your friends because you won't all get another game to play. Smart assholes.
-
Removing them might be a little extreme, but I understand your feeling. I don't have any friends who play the game and people I meet in game I just haven't built up the kind of rapport where I would bug them just for a bounty like that. That said, one solution would be to have something like 10-15 pvp bounties to choose from each day, but you could only choose 6. If you wanted the fireteam ones, you could choose those, but if not, you could choose others.

1 ReplyAgreed. Bungie is desperately still trying to sell us on the whole fireteam thing. Yes, you accomplish things faster with friends, but people want to play by themselves and still be able to accomplish all that the game has to offer. They've done such a poor job putting this game together that in order to make good on claims during press events, they have to force you to play a certain way. Just awful Even the vidocs say, "It's so hard to describe Destiny to someone who hasn't played it. You just have to experience it." That means we have no clue what we made, there is no focus, and we just threw everything into a pot and sold it for $60.

1 ReplyI don't necessarily think they need to get rid of these bounties completely but it was very disappointing that half of my available Crucible bounties yesterday had a group requirement. One per day would be fine. As a 34 year old working professional, I'm hard pressed to find a friend who even owns a console much less the same console as me, and wants to play Destiny, and furthermore wants to play Crucible, not to mention the extremely difficulty in getting online at the same time. It's not that I don't want to be social and play in a Fireteam, I just don't have those connections.

I have to agree, seems like some are being either left out or put in a position they aren't comfortable with. I have people to play with, but get where you're coming from. I wouldn't run with randoms, too big a headache.

4 RepliesI'm usually in a fireteam for most activities, but seriously, making bounty completions based on 2 of your friends needing to do the same bounty seems shitty, I like soloing my bounties before joining group activities.
-
1 ReplyI was planning to purchase TTK, but the presence of so many of these fireteam bounties in the Crucible is making me reconsider. This is not a small issue for me. I do not want to have to waste time everyday trying to find someone to pair up with just to get needed XP from Crucible bounties to level up my gear. Either create fireteam lobbies for different game activities to make grouping up easy to do in the game itself, or get rid of these ill-considered fireteam bounties.

Agree, I play crucibles cuz matchmaking
-
I like them there fun
-
2 RepliesWhat are those bounties? (didn't notice cause I don't do crucible bounties.)
-
2 RepliesHow bout instead of you being in a fireteam it says to kill others in fireteams
-

Edited by xKCz: 9/12/2015 3:07:15 AMI get what you're saying op, sometimes wanna chill and do my own thing. Just save them for when you want to team up with friends.

-
1 Replyscrub.

4 RepliesLMFAO you need one other person... You don't have ONE person to play with? If not idk how you play this game.

1 ReplyEdited by FallenForerunner: 9/11/2015 6:40:43 PMGet some friends. Loser

You have 16 bounty slots now. Leave them there until you play with friends, do the ones you can solo until then. That's what I did. Before they gave us the extra slots I would be saying the same thing you are now. But honestly doesn't matter with 16 slots.
