I know what you're doing. It's nice trying to encourage people to join fireteams... but now in 2 days i have 4 bounties I can't claim without a fireteam.
*EDIT* I understand that playing in a group is more fun and I am not against that at all. However if your friends aren't available and you don't feel like joining randoms it's kinda messed up you are basically getting indirectly penalized.

Agreed, all my friends are back in the states so we're never on at the same time.

Or get friends instead of whining

15 Repliesto those saying " just get a fireteam brah" please STFU, IF bungie had the forethought to put LFG and guild management IN the game, then fine, You could have some small, VERY small point. BUT bungie DID NOT put those features into the game, I should not be forced, FORCED, to leave the freaking game, go to some 3rd party site and find some RANDOM PEOPLE, just to be able to complete a simple bounty. and that's whats so aggravatingly STUPID about this entire philosophy of forced grouping. Because going to these 3rd party sites, signing up with random people to form a fireteam, is EXACTLY the same as if the game put you in a random fireteam (as it already does with strikes) so Bungie, for the love of god please stop this forced grouping crap. YES if you have a dedicated fireteam, people who you play with often etc. you WILL have an advantage in any aspect of the game from PVP to Highest end raids, BUT, it should be a CHOICE not something that's forced onto us, especially since your entire concept is undermined by the fact that people ARE joining RANDOM groups to be able to experience the games more challenging content, the ONLY difference is instead of YOU doing the random matchmaking IN THE FREAKING GAME, which would be convenient for the people trying to play the game we all love (a feature that's actually IN the game right now), we are forced to go to 3rd party sites and get random groups there instead. The end result is the same, random people playing together, NOT dedicated fireteams of friends. yes, a lot of times we end up making friends within these PUG's (pick up groups, the thing your trying so desperately to kill) but that doesn't mean we have friends on all the times we want to play, you want to make raids dedicated fireteams only? fine, at least that makes some type of seance,( though we already now that's not how it works irl), but to require it for a simple crucible bounty? thanks for taking half the bounties away from me when my friends aren't available do to work/kids/real life. i'm still going to play the game, i'm not throwing a " i'm quitting cause this is dumb" tantrum, you see all the time. but have a little heart why don't ya. Thanks

Luckily those bounties rarely take more than 1 game to complete, so playing with randos isn't a huge deal
-
Not being rewarded isn't the same as being penalized.
-
It is a little messed up that they added these to the game. They know how many people don't like the fact that there is no in game matchmaking. Adding these bounties in to one of the most basic game forms seems like a poke at the players.

Agreed

5 RepliesBungie likes players to leave the game just to waste time on a third party LFG site, I think in their minds it all counts towards gameplay time.

17 RepliesEdited by Sullen Maximus: 9/13/2015 9:29:22 AMI am fully convinced at this point that the majority of people who hate this post must be a bunch of no-life high schoolers who literally read this and think "There is nothing wrong! me and my whole group of friends are always on to do these bounties!" Meanwhile the reasonable ones actually understand that when you get a real job, and your friends do too, not everyone is online at the same time. That and the fact a lot of people (above drinking age) just in general hate the snot nosed child bastards that play this game.

Yeah I feel you. I usually try to do the crucible bounties in one or two matches after my friends get off or before they get on because they like playing PvE with a team. I can see how some people fine it annoying because who wants to go on the forums asking for a firetrap buddy to get 3 bounties?
-
it is a bit annoying when there are three of them, but when there are only one or two, meh, no big deal.
-
I realize it's a problem for solo players, but at the same time I like that they're promoting teamwork.
-
4 RepliesWhat bounty are you even referring to? Because I've a ton of quest and have seen any that require a fireteam besides a 42 strike.
-
All it takes is a fireteam of two and these bounties are usually completed in the first crucible match. Are you saying you can't find at least one other person to jump into crucible with? I'm not trying to sound snotty or anything, it's an honest question. I play with my buddy who I know in real life all the time, but I also play with people I only know through Destiny. P.S. If you're on PS4, I'll gladly run crucible with you.
-
They should be removed. If you don't have anyone online to do them with your forced to spend YOUR time which could take only a couple minutes or several minutes or even longer going through sites trying to find people. It forces you to waste time to do random and pointless stuff just to complete bounties that will be done in a couple minutes.

Bump, signed, and agreed.

Get some friends

Agree, unless?, can I just ask if you were for or against matchmaking?, only kiddin, it's stupid req, though it would be karma if it's affecting them guys that used to argue till blue MM (optional) shouldn't happen..stupid game, make a million friends, just so when everyone's busy you can go to lfg for hour or two..

-
Then don't do it.
-
I play in fireteams, but I completely agree

1 ReplyJoin a clan. It helps and you only need 2 people to make a fireteam.
