Official: 3000 Grimiore Score is considered "Elite"
Just got an email from Bungie stating 3k Grimiore is "Elite".
What do you think about this news?
Edit 1: I'm just trying to get a read of what the community thinks, please don't take your feelings out on me. It's gross.

Ghost hunting alone and just playing normally should get you relatively close Shouts out to the level 32 with 950 grimoire I saw today (all that hard work really paid off for them)

4 RepliesI never did ghost hunting before, and my grimoire was hovering around 2850 last week. I made an effort to track down all of the ghosts (I had 3-4 of them just by stumbling on them) and my score shot up over 3300. I certainly don't suddenly feel "elite" just because I loaded up a website that told me exactly where to find all of them...

not elite...but you played alot for sure...but you never really go out of your way... elite is 3400+

6 RepliesI love all the "i didn't farm ghosts because I have a life" comments. It takes like an hour or 2 to get all the ghosts in one sitting. They provide like 600 points in total. Getting all the ghosts will not instantly give you max Grimoire, contrary to popular belief among the forums lol

13 RepliesI think above 3500 is elite. I think that even at 3000 there is still a lot to be done. Im not saying grimoire = skill but once youve hit above 3000 you probably know whats going on. If youve hit above 3500 youre probably just missing some wins in crucible or other minor things.

*sigh* Grimiore does indicate SOME skill,but if you chose to not buy either DLC's you will have a lower score than people who did.That does not mean you are worse at the game or have less experience however,that just means you made the choice not to buy an expansion that has some Grimiore cards as a part of it.

1 ReplyIt does take awhile to get to 3000. I respect the time put into that, for sure. I think a lot of other stats would go into qualifying as an elite player, though.

I don't think 3000 grimoire is elite. I think all a high grimoire score does is show that the player is experienced. Not elite. I've played with many players who have sub 3000 grimoire and are damn good. They just haven't had the game very long or played it enough to have a higher grimoire score. When playing with randoms I prefer a higher grimoire score simply because I don't know the random players skill level so am going with game experience.

Something a lot of people don't know is that you can get above 3000 grimiore without collecting one ghost.

9 RepliesMust be, most guardian are around 2000, besides after 3500 you belong to the 1%, so that must be the real elite.

1 ReplyI may not be a PvP try hard who brags about his KD, but I've played my fair share of destiny, and for that I consider myself elite. Back when house of wolves was coming out, i watched the stream in class. It was perfect because I sat next to a friend who i raided with, so we would peek under the desk to watch the stream. We tried to beat the templar on normal mode for two days, before finally taking him down. We rushed home from school when TDB came out and grinded out the story. We did literally the same thing for HoW, and tried so hard for flawless in trials We stayed up until 12 am trying to beat Skolas, and ended completing it after 8:55:01 So yes, 3000 grimoire or not, I consider myself and my friends to be legend.

2 RepliesIve had the game since it first came out. I dont have 3000 grimoire because I dont bother with dead ghosts. So no its not elite to me.

I have had the game since launch. That being said, I don't work on my grimoire score and its above 3k. It is definitely not elite
