Felwinters noob...
That gun is killing crucible. Everyone n their dog are spamming it, sniping with its ridiculous range, combine that with blink and its just agg to play against. Bungie nerf everything yet leave the shotguns. Felwinters defo needs a nerf. I have two of them, n I never use it purely coz for me it feels skill less and less rewarding than sniping. I know people will disagree and expect all the lil pricks to argue its defense and start with the lame insults (boring). Anyone thats civilised and have thoughts on it, pro or con I'd like to hear what you think. I personally think it's stupidly OP, granted it's slow but when you can shoot from miles away n still get the one shot, so why would anyone choose to run anything else. How mainstream its being used clearly proves it's too Over Powered. Bungie defo need to balance that gun in particular, especially as they've nerfed EVERYTHING else.

Meh, I just camp at the back of the map mostly with a sniper and hawkmoon and force them to come out of hiding. Sure it's kind of a cheap strategy but so is running around with a shotgun the whole game. Just play skirmish since you'll have more room to work with. It's adorable seeing a lone guardian try and chase you down with a shotgun.

I think it's perfect for how terrible crucible is with the shotgun but the thing is everybody is accessible to easily obtain it. When realisticly it was meant for the bigger, more skilled crucible hands. Too many people own it, I believe it should be a back plan weapon like if your in a pinch pull it out but if the other teams has one out you pull it out, but not whored and spammed every single game.. Let's be real. HAVE FUN WITH CRUCIBLE USE OTHER WEAPONS AND MAKE CRUCIBLE DIVERSE AND FUN WOTH CHALLENGE STOP USING THE SAME WEAPON EVERY SINGLE GAME SWITCH IT UP A LITTLE BIT

Bungie will fix the Auto Rifles at some point and make everything else terrible again its how Destiny works they dont want us to use the same weapons for more than 3 months so in June they will make everything shit except Dragons Breath most likely there you go.

6 RepliesYou die to it because you can't counter it, that's the hard but honest truth. If you think shotguns are op just because you die to them a lot then you are simply bad at the game. Im sorry but that's true. That's not saying there's no problems with shotguns, I just think they are right where they should be. The problem is with the map size and the amount that special ammo spawns. They are fixing special ammo so that's good, but for the map size you simply need to work out a better strategy that doesn't involve running at enemies, honestly I'd say about 90% of the shotgun kills I get are because the dude ran right into my gun.

First off, it's fire rate it slow, which means you better get the kill on the first shot or else you'd be probably killed by a more fast-shooting weapon, i have it and it requires actual skill to use unlike others where just keep hitting fire and you'll kill, here if you miss, you're ass good as dead

At a MINIMUM, they've played enough Iron Banner and won/completed enough bounties to reach Rank 3....and got it as a drop. More likely, they played enough to reach rank 4 the month Lord Saladin was selling it....and bought it. Bottomline. Anyone running around with is good enough to kill you with any other shotgun in the game. I was JUST as deadly with Found Verdict and WALKING my shots into people, as I am with Felwinters and standing off and one-shotting them. The weapon doesn't need a nerf. You just either need to get one of your own.....or BACK UP and out of its range. Its an all-or-nothing weapon whos slow fire rate and reload time FORCE the user to time his shot perfectly.....or die. Fire too soon? You die. You won't kill your target and he'll get off two before you can pull the trigger a second time. Fire too late...and you give up the one advantage the weapon has over other shotguns.

Just like when the vex got nerfed and we were forced into using pulse rifles? Adjust to the game if you want to win. You state that you have a felwinters, so use it and wreck people in pvp with it. It is no different than hand cannon users maining last word/thorn or snipers that are worth anything maining preydith's (I'm sure my spelling is off). To survive you should always use the best weapons available. With that said, as a felwinters user I will tell you that it isn't as easy to spree with as what you may think. "Hail Hydra"

1 ReplyI rarely die by shotgun, I stay at midrange or long, if I die by one I know to watch my corners more carefully and be mindful of my range. Mida and dance machines makes for a hard target to hit
