That gun is killing crucible. Everyone n their dog are spamming it, sniping with its ridiculous range, combine that with blink and its just agg to play against. Bungie nerf everything yet leave the shotguns. Felwinters defo needs a nerf. I have two of them, n I never use it purely coz for me it feels skill less and less rewarding than sniping. I know people will disagree and expect all the lil pricks to argue its defense and start with the lame insults (boring). Anyone thats civilised and have thoughts on it, pro or con I'd like to hear what you think. I personally think it's stupidly OP, granted it's slow but when you can shoot from miles away n still get the one shot, so why would anyone choose to run anything else. How mainstream its being used clearly proves it's too Over Powered. Bungie defo need to balance that gun in particular, especially as they've nerfed EVERYTHING else.

3 RepliesFelwinters lie, thorn, gjallarhorn. Are all crucible crutches imo ... By all means go ahead and use them but you're handicap
-
They should remove the hammerforge/shot package combo. It's a bit much on any shotgun. I have a secret handshake with both and its almost as good as felwinters.
-
Please Please Please Please Please Please Just
Shut up
-
It isn't killing crucible, and NO I don't have one. It is however killing me! However it still doesn't need a nerf. The fact that you can roll your perks is awesome. They grinded for it sheesh let them use it. Your gonna die in crucible no point getting mad about it.

Bump , nerf felwinters
-
1 ReplyYour warlock is running a shotty with shot package and your titan is running a shotty with hammer forged.pot calling kettle black much?
-
-
2 RepliesI think it needs a buff. It needs to have a faster rate of fire so I can shoot it faster.
-
4 RepliesYou don't hate the felwinters lie, you hate that everyone can roll hammer forged and shot package for it. There are a lot of shotguns that would be just as good if not possibly better if you were lucky enough to get that particular roll.
-
He had to okay iron banner to get it so I think it's justified
-
It's not as bad as people think. If you miss, you're dead. And sometimes, you'll shoot a guy with the Lie, and he'll live and kill quicker cause fire rate.
-
4 RepliesWhy can't people just learn how to evolve and deal with things? Also if you read the weekly updates you'd know how pointless this post is. The update will remedy the "problem".

3 RepliesThermodynamics is a branch of physics concerned with heat and temperature and their relation to energy and work. It defines macroscopic variables, such as internal energy, entropy, and pressure, that partly describe a body of matter or radiation. It states that the behavior of those variables is subject to general constraints, that are common to all materials, not the peculiar properties of particular materials. These general constraints are expressed in the four laws of thermodynamics. Thermodynamics describes the bulk behavior of the body, not the microscopic behaviors of the very large numbers of its microscopic constituents, such as molecules. Its laws are explained by statistical mechanics, in terms of the microscopic constituents. Thermodynamics applies to a wide variety of topics in science and engineering. Historically, thermodynamics developed out of a desire to increase the efficiency and power output of early steam engines, particularly through the work of the French physicist Nicolas Léonard Sadi Carnot (1824) who believed that the efficiency of heat engines was the key that could help France win the Napoleonic Wars.[1] The Irish-born British physicist Lord Kelvin was the first to formulate a concise definition of thermodynamics in 1854:[2] "Thermo-dynamics is the subject of the relation of heat to forces acting between contiguous parts of bodies, and the relation of heat to electrical agency." Initially, thermodynamics, as applied to heat engines, was concerned with the thermal properties of their 'working materials', such as steam, in an effort to increase the efficiency and power output of engines. Thermodynamics was later expanded to the study of energy transfers in chemical processes, such as the investigation, published in 1840, of the heats of chemical reactions[3] by Germain Hess, which was not originally explicitly concerned with the relation between energy exchanges by heat and work. From this evolved the study of Chemical thermodynamics and the role of entropy in chemical reactions.

9 RepliesEdited by Saelmass77: 4/12/2015 3:19:58 AMYour stats lack of skills anyway.... so who cares? You can't understand the way you can counter shotgun ..... and you never will so thats why you make a topic about this one .... do you remember before the patch ? shotgun was more op ...... the difference?! ..... you was ra pe by different type of shotgun....now..... you v been ra pe by the same type of shotgun ..... you will always been ra pe..... the meta change only the weapon wich we will kick your ass ;)

1 ReplyI don't even play bad, I never go negative, but felwinters lie is so damn annoying.
-
12 RepliesFirst, shame on you and your lack of strategy. Second, Bungie will remedy the shotgun rampages in Crucible with less special ammo. If you read the weekly updates, you would know this already.
-
Waaaah
-
Get with it. Im playing as a titan with bubble i might as well just use it.

2 RepliesEdited by ParZivaL [OASIS]: 4/12/2015 2:28:13 AMI hate to admit that I do have 3 Felwinters and wanted to be part of the "bandwagon" sniping shotgun users. However, it got old for me because I felt that it got really boring to just run around and blast people with it. Now, I improve my Crucible experience by finding ways to defeat this "fad". Now I find it much more fun and rewarding to see someone with a shotgun rushing to you and melting them away with a Vex or Plan C.

5 RepliesFelwinters Lie just needs the available perks to be looked at when reforging. Stacking multiple range perks shouldn't be allowed. I don't see Shotguns as a problem because technically there's nothing wrong with them, they perform how they're suppose to. The problem is that almost every map caters to their play style. Mix that with Felwinters range on a good reforge, then it's hell. The impending patch on Special Ammo should help lower the usage of them a little, but until more variety in maps is added, Shotguns will always run supreme. Which blows ass.
-
I don't use it for crucible and also get killed by this shotgun multiple times but I believe it's fine the way it is.
-
2 RepliesWah wah nerf this nerf that... who cares it's a game. You play to have fun. If bungie listened to every nerf complaint we'd be playing barbies in a sand box, I mean enough with the nerf threads already.
-
9 RepliesPeople have deliberately rerolled them for Max range and I am getting a bit sick of how far the one hit too. I find the more I use a shotgun the more boared I am with crucible. I also get bored out of my mind waiting to snipe someone how can anyone handle either waiting around scoped or running around like headless chickens Mindlessly running around. Truly ask secondaries and even heavies ruin crucible for me. Supers I can just about handle but as it is their are too many one shot kills. In some instances you can't even get any sort of fun have getting one hit fun all directions.

3 RepliesEdited by Mr.Cow: 4/12/2015 2:18:09 AMUhmm if everything got nerfed*(lol) nothing would change
-
I really don't think it's as crazy as people make it to be, I've defeated more people who wield the Felwinter's Lie than they've defeated me
