Don't shoot rockets at Atheon
People who say this are mentally ill. If I have full rockets, 5 rockets , or even 1 I will shoot it.
Edit: I will shoot whatever I want. You can tell me what to shoot when you've done it more than me.

Edit To the people arguing that ice breaker and black hammer do better than 4 or 5 players with gallys, I am guessing you play with gallyless scrubs so you don't understand their power in numbers.

I use em on my way to center, before my team starts sniping so that he doesn't go moonwalking across the stage. Then i switch to my sniper and -blam!- him up

Because persistent Black Hammer shots deal more than your rockets, and making him dance makes that very difficult.

Because USUALLY everyone uses snipers to crit Atheon and rockets and grenades makes him "dance" making it super hard to hit the critical spot on him... You should only use rockets if everyone on the team agrees to shoot rockets (Ghorn)

Rockets are great if EVERYBODY IS USING THEM. otherwise you -blam!- over the guys sniping. Same thing with grenades.

I think there is nothing wrong with using rockets or snipers but I do think it's is counter productive to use rockets if the rest of your team is using snipers

7 RepliesI have 5 ghorns and I never shoot rockets at atheon.. I know how it feels to be that guy with the black hammer and some dbag like you keeps making me miss my 3rd critoris (as previously referred to).

Unless everyone is shooting rockets, he does die faster from all snipers. Rockets make him move, so if one guy is shoting rockets and the other 4 have snipers/lmg's it will be counterproductive.

See people who complain like that should realize they suck and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. i've made this example before I had everyone else shoot rockets I sniped I had no problem. All you really have to do is AIM..........

I agree that shooting rockets is the quickest way to bring down Atheon, but I'm a team player and if my team wants to use snipers, then I pull out my black hammer and super good advice.
