One thing Destiny doesn't have over Halo is...
The sheer hilarity of trashing someone so badly they send you a message "1v1 snipers octagon"
It was often one of the highlights of my week.
Some kid just messaged me with a 'Ur terible" and it just didn't have the same effect as the classic 1v1 720 dodecahedron no scopes whilst high on doritos and mountain dew.
Anything you miss from the good old Bungie days of Halo?

2 RepliesI've never played Halo because I'm on PSN but i know Halo at least has a good story. I watch gameplays on YouTube sometimes. Its a really awesome game.

Sad to say, this isn't the same bungie at all. The team that made Halo was a fraction of the size Bungie is now, and a majority left for 343 (or other companies) or were fired or something (like Marty). This is really just a bunch of people using a successful alias.

I miss the forge plus how involved bungie was with us all and bungie day and when recon was rare I got it before odst and the clan vs clan was my fav with the clan hq meeting and stuff

I don't mind asymmetric multiplayer, but the thing about that is things need to be so different from one another that they balance out in the end. But as it stands now, Defenders are almost helpless against another super, Nova Bomb and Fist of Havoc are panic buttons, along with the Sunsinger's Flame Shield, Fireborn makes death arbitrary, and the Hunter supers are only useful for about 5 seconds. This is coming from a Hunter, btw. There's more I could nitpick about but I think I hear some of you calling the Waaahmbulance already.

4 RepliesI miss the sound track. Not that destiny has a bad soundtrack, but every time I load up Halo 3, as soon as that melody comes in the nostalgia just destroys me. That and the story :) I wish Destiny had one of those lol

2 RepliesHalo 1 lan party's, carrying tube tvs everywhere and setting up routers to play. Halo 2 leaderboards, being number 1 in major clan match and big team battle. Getting to play kids like ogre 1 and 2, walshy, strongside, sadpanda, ghostayame, kill3n, etc. And so many more matches that i remember like it was still 2004 and i just got to purdue and halo'd out all the fn time. Thank you for letting me reminisce.
