im on PS3, I have not been able to get the game to load once. I just keeps saying "Destiny Servers are not available. Dismiss this message to try again." and thats it. it has been doing that for 3 days. I called sony, they couldnt do anything about it. i cant find a way to contact bungie. WTF! HELP!

Im having the same issue and im not in a college town at all. Using fios internet and all recommended settings. Everything else network wise works fine, including any other game.

The same thing is happening to me, only I'm on an Xbox One. Are you at a University with a firewall?

Edited by FrankieFrank586: 9/17/2014 12:08:59 AMno, but i do live in kalamazoo , michigan. its a college town, only im like a few miles away from campus. i tried connecting directly to my modem with ethernet instead of using wifi on my router, still didnt work. How can i make sure that my modem doesnt have a firewall?
