Are you guys mad about having to start fresh?
I personally don't mind starting from scratch. What do you all think?

I thought the Beta AI was dumbed down in the Earth area, and was too easy with lots of unearned loot drops. Im glad as there we can truly have a Destiny experience as well to define our characters.

I'm not mad at having to start over. I'm a little bummed that they took all the stuff out of the vault though, I got a legendary heavy chain gun that I never got to use. Other then that, I have no problem with starting fresh.

1 ReplyI switched my copy from Ghost Edition 360 to Standard Edition PS4 after the beta, so no. I still need to wait 4 days before I decide where I'm getting a PS4 from, though.

I'm just gonna make it so my beta guardians were my launch's parents. I think it sounds kinda cool

Was slightly for 2 secs ( ran through the story from scratch 4 times in the beta), but it will still be fun to go through again on full release.

I don't mind at all. Actually I'm kinda happy about it. I wasn't really happy how my characters looked.

Nope, the only thing im mad at is that im stuck playing broken Battlefield 4 until Destiny launches, as it's the only game I have for the Xbox One.

1 ReplyNot mad at all, it would have been pretty cool but not a necessity. We get 2 awesome emblems which I will never remove, simply because the one you get from participating on the specific time they asked you to, is sick. I love that emblem. I want to make my appearance different as well, so that's a plus. I'm sure any legendary gear I got can easily be replaced, and the iron banner gear I got (the titan class item) will also be replaced by the time I hit level 20. All in all, worth every moment of the beta =)

Nope. Not at all. I wanted to change my Guardians' appearance anyway and level 8 isn't as important as say, allowing us to go to level cap, THEN deleting it. Even if I knew it was beta.

starting from scratch is good because it makes those preorder goodies Useful rather then a pile of "junk" that would be broken down day one. also I really do not mind starting over, it was That Fun!

Well, I lost 62 hours of my life, but I helped Bungie make it a better game, and got to experience the awesome gameplay, so no hard feelings toward them.
