Mote of Light?
What is the deal with these things? I heard you can only get them for reaching level 20, but I saw gear that the Speaker had that cost 2 Motes of Light........ So does anyone know how exactly you obtain these and what all they can be used for?

2 RepliesOnce you reach level 20, the experience you gain will go towards Motes of Light instead of the usual character level, with the Motes you'll be able to buy high level gear that will give you the light stat (similar to intelligence, strength, and discipline) which will then increase your character level depending on how much light you have. In the IGN video that showed a level 29 titan he had 118 light which got him up 9, almost 10, extra character levels

7 RepliesFrom what I saw in the new level 29 Titan video, the motes of light seem to be similar to the paragon system in Diablo. I noticed at the bottom of the screen when the player killed an enemy it said +30 exp and instead of a number on the far left it had an image which looked like the mote of light image. So maybe after you reach level 20 every time you "level up" after that you get a mote. Just my thoughts.
