I think the suspension system is completely fair if the lobbies are being balanced appropriately.
Do I want to load in to a 6 v 4 on dysjunction, I don’t want to play on this map at all, let alone get farmed. It’s 27-3 after 50 seconds, I’m very care free and non toxic. I’m lucky if I get on for an hour at most and it’s midnight. My only downtime on my favourite game is getting completely deflating now. I support the game, I still believe in my favourite outlet but this getting absolutely daft.
Balance the lobbies, protect the player base. Build a future PvP experience that we can get back to enjoying hours on end. You used to dominate PvP experiences but in the original Halo days because you kept things simple. Go back to those basics and build up, keep things balanced from the get go and bring us back the experiences that still incorporate the dynamic movement and gunplay that we all love.
Bloody hell Bungie.
Sincerely, one disappointed dad gamer/PvP enjoyer.

1 ReplyEdited by TractorCannonGuy: 10/18/2024 10:15:05 PMTo be fair, the reason you're loading in to 6v4 games is because people were leaving. Suspension is good

Even if the lobby was balanced, you and others would still find a reason to back out. When will you realize you're part of the problem? How fair is it for you to bail on your team because you get killed 2-3 times in a row?
-
If you’re quitting enough matches to get a ban, you’re part of the issue… I’ve quit matches before and have yet to get any bans. This means you’re quitting multiple matches in a short period of time

“PVP enjoyer”…. I think I found your problem.

2 RepliesMismatches happen Do you think a sports team getting blown out can just run away and pretend it didn't happen?
It’s 27-3 after 50 seconds
Sounds like it was going to be a Mercy anyway (probably due to being down 2 players).
Balance the lobbies
Please explain how to do this when quitters leave and unbalance the teams. Your complaints are caused by players leaving games early. Bungie is trying to prevent that from happening with the bans.

1 ReplyEdited by King Dicer: 10/18/2024 9:25:43 AMI get it sometimes, my last game was me on a 4 vs 6 in a similar scenario but I stuck with it and came out with us winning the game and I got 32 kills so it pays to stick with it (I'm a filthy casual). It annoys me to see players leave a game halfway through so I think there needs to be some penalty for leaving a game early.

Got error coded and a suspended. Have not touched crucible for months before that. And I'll not ever touch it again if 1 offense in months gets a suspension.

It's the meme with the guy on the bike and then he puts the stick in the spokes and wrecks and is sad. It's just like that.

I got a Gambit Suspension warning because the game kicked me out of a match. I never have connection issues with any other games I play. Why is it just Destiny? Even D1 was nowhere near as bad as D2.

They care about identity politics and pushing that agenda

4 Repliesdude, I agree completely, but they haven't been able to change anything in 10 years. It's been the same -blam!- from the start. It should be clear by now that these developers are completely incompetent. Feels like Bungie should just fire the other half of the devs and hire new ones that are actually good at their jobs, but whatever. It is what it is.

3 RepliesThe last time the Streamers were flown to Seattle, all expenses paid to have a meeting with bungie to tell them how to run the game, they asked them to punish quitters because it hurt their viewership.

2 RepliesEdited by amazing_month041: 10/18/2024 4:46:15 AMUnfortunately there's only two options in this case 1. Continue playing PvP while accepting the fact that Bungie ain't gonna fix it 2. Stop playing PvP

elitegtryin to work with whats left.. for now - 4/3/2026 12:46:30 PM
I agree with a lot of what you said especially about keeping it simple and trying to enjoy movement & gunplay.. sometimes the abilities are just pure silliness that take you away from your pvp strategic/tactical combat zone.. even within this undead zombie universe (space magic they will say). But I want to offer some practical advice too > 27-3 is no biggie. In control you get mercy'd at around 60 points.. don't even look at that and play your game. That score will swing if you stay in there and play. -
No one wants to load into a half over match, but they sure are quick to make slots that need to be filled in one.
-
You don't want to pile on etc. but it really just is getting unbelievably bad. Shockingly bad.

16 RepliesWe shouldn’t get suspensions from quickplay at all,it’s supposed to be casual gameplay.

Just understand people who quit ? It takes a while to load in now , you quit only to go into another crap fest of a game and then people who constantly quit just mess up the flow . The player base is smaller now so I’m seeing the same people over and over ….the ones who quit , cheat and be dirty toxic sweat lords 😂

I would choose D2 Forsaken as probably the best crucible has ever been
