what to do if I played with a cheater so I don't get banned?
I just ran a Pantheon and I think someone was cheating, I reported him in game but I want to make sure I don't get banned. I believe he was cheating because he seemed to always have a super and there were like 50 orbs on the ground and his damage was insanely high and he kept leaving and rejoining, are there steps I should take beyond reporting him in game to make sure I don't get banned?

In future though, if you see* they're clearly cheating either kick them if you're leader/they joined your team or leave; waiting until you get the clear first even with them clearly cheating will likely just be seen by Bungie as you were fine with the cheating as long as you got your clear.
