Is anybody else excited to see what they do after the final shape? Like are they just going to make an entire New Destiny like part 3, or they just moving on to a completely different game and the destiny franchise is done. Very interested to see what they have in store

No matter what happens in Final Shape, whether its good or bad or easy or hard, the community could end up in a total meltdown for reasons that we don't even know right now and can't even predict. I'm not hoping for a total meltdown but the world's a crazy place that the world affects the community.

The fact we currently don’t have a roadmap for the future of Destiny is particularly interesting. That’s a good way to give people confidence in the future of a live service game. (Remember the one revealed in the build up to Forsaken, when the future of the game looked uncertain?) Is that because they are waiting to reveal it at a more suitable time, or is that because there are no concrete plans right now? I imagine Marathon will take focus in the run up to its own release. What happens with Destiny while that’s happening, I really don’t know. How are they going to manage this transition to becoming a multi IP studio? I’m equally interested to find out. Long term plans are usually subject to change and Bungie’s likely depend on how well TFS and Marathon perform. There have also been rumours of future leadership changes, with Sony potentially taking full control of Bungie. From my perspective, it looks like it could go in one of many different directions.

I'm certainly curious but I prefer putting one foot in front of the other so I can hold off on my anticipation until Final Shape at least gets going first.
