There's no way I could do Zero Hour legend in 20 minutes. It took us 20 minutes just to get through the library. I did the mission on legend multiple times way back when it first came up. I think you had 30 minutes with a team of three then.
Maybe there's some wizkids here who clear do ZH in 20 minutes, but I am starting to wonder whether Bungie gets paid by carry services for clusterf***s like this one.
For me this has nothing to do with fun anymore; It's Bungie making players jump through hoops they are putting higher and higher.
I've been playing Destiny for nine years, didn't get FS, and I am glad I didn't.

Mainly the exploders in the fan room. Completely unnecessary. Moving at my peak not missing a single jump and whole team killing as fast as possible still can't arrive in the boss room on legend with more than 6 minutes left, and that's not enough to clear it. We need atleast 8 minutes to even have a chance. They should have just brought the mission back as it was. All the new additions make it less fun than it used to be. I don't forsee any casuals being able to complete legend. And let's not even talk about the fact t that the puzzle floor changes daily and there's no posts yet about all the combinations so you waste 5 minutes on the first run of the day just solving the floor to reset and try to clear it. I've had over 20 lfgs and my whole clan running it. Zero completions so far. It's severely overtuned and needs to be brought back a notch.

It certainly is able to be done with a fireteam, solo is a bit more unforgiving. You have to be flawless and never miss a single jump, perfecting the path with each attempt with Eager Edge/Mountaintop jumping/Strand Grapple for example. The extra boss phase at the end is pretty cool in my opinion but certainly adds an additional challenge due to the bullet sponge nature of a boss level Brig prior to the last half of its health. The original mission was only 20 minutes however if I recall correctly there was a puzzle that a teammate could do and purposely fail to extend the timer, so with the added Boss phase I could agree that there should be a increase the timer as well such as finding a hidden enemy, perhaps to disrupt their communication?
I think you had 30 minutes with a team of three then.
Video proof that Zero Hour on the higher difficulty setting originally had a twenty minute timer: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ApPJJzqigng (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)

You can do it bro. Just learn the path and then you have enough time for the Boss Room. On the second Tyree have 9 minutes for the boss room and we playing on console and I’m 45 years old! Just don’t give up and you will do it.

Skill issue

I love how this community acts like their are so many helpful and nice people to game with but simultaneously tells you to get gud any time you vent about something. Seems diametrically opposite.

I only ran 1 normal for the triumph, I'm happy with the original version of outbreak

How have you been playing this game for 9 years and not come to the conclusion that every single balance change to armor, weapons and subclasses have not made this game some of the easiest its been in years. This activity you are complaining about had exactly 2 major changes: you are around -15 and there is a brig and a bit more enemies in the final fight. This is an optional mission to that only gives you a marginal increase to stats on a weapon that has been in the game for years and yet THIS is a defining reason why you wont get final shape? An optional difficulty increase on a old exotic mission? Man the whining is real in this forum sheesh.

Completed it 2nd try after we relearned the paths and puzzle. You’ll be alright - just keep trying.

There's been solo legendary clears...

Get good, Holmes.

Skill issue. Many did this exotic quest years ago with no complaints.
-
And whats hard with this exactly ?

Did it to get the switches, then reset the mission, and did it, wasn't that bad tbh
