I knew the announced flinch changes would be bad, but I didn't think it would be this bad. Flinch used to contribute to a more interesting dynamic in dueling by making the opening shot less of a determining factor in an encounter. Scouts have lost their identity. They don't cause enough flinch when hitting me for me to notice. When using them, I haven't seem them work to lock down a sniper since the changes went into effect. This includes mida and jade rabbit which now cause so little flinch I don't even notice when someone opens up on me with them. "high caliber rounds?" apparently a useless relic trait of a bygone era. I want my old flinch back.
