I have successfully created a fun new build I enjoy using on a Void Hunter, its not great, this is Manticore were talking about, nobody uses Manticore, well, nobody thats sane anyway. What this requires is Mountaintop, Manticore, and Speedloader Slacks. This build is for fun and most suited for Public Events, Altars on the Moon, and Strikes, I tested it for functionality. So how this works you get kills with Manticore to charge up the Repulsor. Next you need special ammo, I suggest Special Ammo Finder, this is due to relying on a jump/fire action with Mountaintop. When Repulsor is ready and you have ads attacking you dodge to engage Speedloader Slacks and proceed to rocketjump via Mountaintop, once airborne begin firing Manticore into ads. Voila! You have successfully become a little-bird helicopter! In the event you want to float around like a Solarlock but on a Void Hunter for floaty shenanigans. I tend to bring my Hammerhead with Envious/Onslaught for lots of bullets on big enemies or bosses, any Void Heavy will do though, and for better DPS use Edge Transit.
