The coil is ridiculously hard for no reason
Literally stupid. 1810 recommended and still getting destroyed at 1813 and enemies having sword symbols above them. I returned after a long break and I came back to find out in order to progress through the seasonal content I need to do the coil. bungie why do you do this? You force people to play ridiculously difficult activities to complete a seasonal story. At least lower the difficulty. I guess I'll once again leave seasonal activity. I'd probably need to be 1830 at least to even do any damage to a red bar. Pathetic! 😡

3 RepliesYou joined a run midway through, that's an issue with how it works. Try one from the beginning, joining after the start is doomed to fail. There's 4 waves & each wave gets harder, you're power capped so no need to get to 1830, I think it's like 1810 or 1815 even if you're 1890. First wave easy, 2nd can be a bit rough depending on the team, 3rd tougher, 4th rough. Shoot all the bottles & collect shards to buy buffs after each wave. It's more about your build & team setup, it's about playing your life & working with your team, warlocks & well are super helpful. If you're matchmaking it'-blam!- & miss, end of season it's gonna be more miss. Reset day is easiest, check your team flying in, any mugs just leave, not worth staying. Coil is a test, but it's rewarding, you just need patience, a way to stay alive, & a bit of luck with matchmaking.
