Riptide drops
Tired of getting Riptide weapon as constant crucible drop. It’s drop rate is 95% which I simply dismantle it after every game. This has been happening this whole season. Are there no better crucible weapons that do not drop after a crucible match?

It’s the same every season. Whichever is the new weapon has a higher chance of dropping in the lootpool for the playlist. Wait 2 weeks and it’ll be something new.

3 RepliesIts the crucible weapon. Obviously it drops from crucible. Dont want it...dont play crucible. It will have a new weapon in 3 weeks.

They are only pointless after you get one w auto loading and a double perk of vorpal and chill clip. With masterwork charge. If you don’t have this, keep letting them drop.

It seems each season, bungie like to buff the drop rates for the new playlist weapons. Personal I've been enjoying it as it gives me a chance to farm out a good stasis rapid fire fusion. They may not be meta, but rapid fire fusions are still great for dps, landing just behind snipers but ahead of shotguns, gls, and trace rifles.

Riptide is a great weapon with interesting rolls. But it’s rather lonely. That said crucible is in [u]dire[/u] need of good rewards. Sbmm or not without some good incentives crucible will not rejuvenate.

Wish strikes and gambit had the same problem. Their rewards don't drop anywhere near as often as the pvp one does.

I prefer lots of drops of a new weapon that only lasts for one season. I get more of the older weapons when I turn in engrams from leveling up the crucible vendor.
