How do y’all have 1570 gear?
I’ve been grinding pinnacles for a few weeks now but all I’ve been getting is just 1560 gear, but when I look at the gear my fireteam members/clan members have they have 1570 gear. Anything specific I got to do to get 1570 because I want to try GM’s/ master nightfalls at some point.

3 RepliesFor reference Pinnacle drops are as follows and are based on overall power level, NOT INDIVIDUAL PIECE LEVELS. These can also be seen in game by looking at the locations with the gold iconsnext to them: [b]+1 Pinnacles[/b] - Hawthorne's engram for earning 5000 clan xp a week - 3 strikes with the subclass equipped matching the weekly singe - 3 crucible matches in the Valor playlists - 3 gambit matches [b]+2 Pinnacles[/b] - 100k score on the weekly story mission in Savathun's Throne World - Master Wellspring - 250k score in Dares of Eternity - 100k score on Nightfall - Killing enough powerful enemies in Vox Obscura - Final encounter of the featured dungeon - Final encounter of the featured raid - Each encounter of the Vow of the Disciple - Each encounter of the new dungeon, Duality - Preservation mission on Savathun's Throne World - Trials of Osiris Flawless reward (when available) - Trials of Osiris 7 wins on a card (when available) - Trials of Osiris 50 round wins (when available) - Reaching Glory rank of Legend - Complete Sever mission on the moon - Iron Banner (when available)

I’ve had better RNG this season with my pinnacles than I have any previous season. This season I’ve had very little duplicates when getting my pinnacles for all my characters. Now, previous seasons, I would be getting duplicate after duplicate, slowing my progression. But knowing my luck, just speaking about having good RNG this season, I’ve most likely jinxed myself for the next year lmao.

By doing pinacle activities. Its only 10 levels. I had 1565 gear at the end of the first week.

Raids help a ton. I was in the same boat as you, but raid pinnacles can drop as far -blam!- and you get one from each encounter. I raided twice this season in addition to regular pinnacles and hit 1570 in three weeks. Granted there is rng involved

Couple oh hours a day doing Pinnacles, and some bounties, takes 3 weeks for all characters even with duplicates. +2 and +1 Pinnacles I stop doing bounties when i can play Grand Masters.

10 RepliesIt's because they have no lives, I'm not necessarily knocking them either, they just have a lot of free time. I personally wouldn't play this game that much, even if I did have their amount of free time, because it's boring.

You have drops that are over 1560 on your main. Just continue to do your pinnacles.

Playstation players got a full set of 1570 armor at the start of the season -
U aren't doing the important ones most likely. U need to raid, do dungeons, preservation, Vox obscura and seasonal missions. And u need to do them every week. Honestly not every week, I got to 1570 while no doing the max pretty quick by doing the raid and the dungeon and seasonal missions. But if u want to hit pinnacle cap fast don't worry about strikes, gambit and cruci, do the +2 pinnacles.

Edited by REDSIX: 7/18/2022 5:55:45 PMSo to get to max rank you have to invest a fair amount of time doing activities that have rewards but you may not want to do. The easiest way to do this progression is to do it on 2 or 3 characters- doing it on one is a bit of a disadvantage. First you have to get to 1560- get to that cap as fast as you can. Then you basically have to do every +2 pinnacle on one character to max out the power level- then do the +1 pinnacles until you are bored or have maxed out your power level- then you go to the next character and repeat. The next week- do the same thing but start with the highest base power level character first- then repeat- The other thing you need to consider is your artifact power- so you will have to also be mindful of completing the seasonal content and doing bounties and always having a fireteam to open bounties / ghost shell maxing out xp gains. And remember that next season, the pinnacle cap will go up by +10 so if you dont get to 1570 this season, you have to grind a bit to get to 1570 before you do pinnacles. And if you want to have an easier time next season- save bounties on all three charachters- cash them in next season- you will get about +20 season ranks day 1

Duality rewards 3 pinnacles. Do all the pinnacles, shouldn’t be too long.

I guess maybe they play a lot, and use all 3 characters. I don’t know. I returned to Destiny after 3 years. Did level for everybody go down to 1350? If not, then maybe they had a head start?

You only have a certain amount of pinnacle drops you can get every week. It usually takes a few weeks to get from 1560 to 1570 depending how efficient and lucky you are.

Getting from 1560-1570 shouldnt take more than 3-4weeks maximum. I always take it "slow". Iknow its possible to get max power in 1-2weeks. By just doing the big increases first(raids, dungeons) and then balancing things out with lower(playlist activitie pinnicles) and then finally some powerfulls for on power drops if things lack behind. Then swap to a other character and repeat for faster leveling. For week 1 the lvling order would be Character 1 > 2 > 3 and the week after 3 > 2 > 1 and then repeat the patern until you get 1 chacter to 1570. Sometimes i only play 1 character and it still takes about 4 weeks to hit maxpower. 5-6weeks if rng is bad and you dont get that 1 armor drop you need.

Just glancing at your history, it doesn’t look like you are doing ‘pinnacle’ activities. You have to look at the reward description.

2 RepliesIn order for “pinnacle” drops to be truly pinnacle you need to be at 1560, before that they are just “extra powerful”. I see you have a few items above 1560, those are pinnacles that dropped either +1 or +2 above your highest light level on that character not including artifact, depending on activity. If you hold onto those high level items (or infuse into gear you use) you slowly climb light level +1 at a time until 1570 in every slot.
