Like most of the events I just participate for an exclusive exotic and dip out, unless there's a cool cosmetic. This time though? Nope. I'm waiting for next season at this rate, not much has improved since this season's launch. A very disappointing low point of witch queen thus far.

It’s useless. I went in once and deleted all the bounties immediately after.

Did the grind in year 1 and never bothered again. Having the armour being obsolete from year 1 to 2 and again becoming obsolete going into year 3 didn’t sit well with me. Huge waste of time in my opinion.

No. I got my triple stat armour for all my 3 characters and I can still get different triple starts by moving perks about. Even without so called high stat armour nothing appeals to me.

Do you say "Opening Presents Again, Really " at Christmas -
2 RepliesIn previous years, not really. This year though the ability to re-roll armor stats to try and get near-perfect distributions sounds potentially promising. I'm also holding out hope that the handcannon will be able to roll with incandescent which would make it pretty desirable IMO

3 RepliesNo. I care about breakfast.

4 RepliesNot this time. Need a break from the game.

No. I've already got plenty of armour. I've got plenty of hand cannons. I've played the event over the last few years and even with the changes it's still shooting the same things for hours and hours, over and over. I just cannot be bothered anymore with these free events. I've also just read they are putting an optional price tag to this event. Not for me thank you.

Another reskin weapon to take up space in the vault, another armor set I don't find attractive, a new way they are trying to monetize the game when further with the event card, another horde-mode-but-not... Not much to be excited about. I don't really need more high stat armor but it could be interesting to see this new system they are introducing, I just worry it'll be yet another overly grindy system, and the juice won't be worth the squeeze. We'll see tomorrow I guess.

No, may not even play the next couple of weeks, I’ve skipped the last 2.

It's how I feel about Guardian Games.

9 RepliesIf the Hand Cannon is a 120, there's that. But it's most likely yet another 140, or the somewhat less common 180.

Never have and never will.

My favorite event cause nice armor
-
Armour doesn’t look as good as previous years. But it’s something to do
-
I'm at least gonna get the Warlock set done but IDK if I'll do much more than that. I usually grind the armor for a free ornament set on my alt's but I'm not feeling the looks this year. Hand cannons aren't my thing either so............

3 RepliesPersonally speaking, I'm not a fan of D2 seasonal events in general. There are three reasons for this. The main one is because almost everytime the Rewards are not of my interest. Now with this year Solstice for example, I don't like the Armor Sets (I don't like glowing effects and the base Armor is too stylish for me) and I definetely don't need yet ANOTHER Legendary Hand Cannon, not matter if brand new or a reskin. The Cosmetics that are sold during the Events are cool, but too much out of context (the Destiny game in general) to be of my interest. Yeah, a Ghost Shell with a fancy bonnet is fun and I can definetely see people liking it and using it for cosplays or Armor Fashion, but it's not a good reason for me to partecipate to the Event or spend my Bright Dust. Second reason, the Activities are... kinda boring. The A.E.Z is cool, the same for the spooky Forest of the Halloween Event, but the Activities themselves are never really exciting enough to entice me to partecipate. And if you also add the possible grind to this for Armors/Rewards, then I'm definetely not going to do it. Third reason... is Eva Levante. Do you know how the community in general don't like Shaw Han? Or how some NPCs like Lakshmi-2 were hated? For me that character is Eva Levante. She's creepy, annoying and her voice lines make me cringe all the time. I hate going on the Tower when she's around. I'd rather interact with a mute bot that her for the Events. I know, I know: this is just me. True. But I can't help myself to despite Eva Levante...

Nope, im only logging in to get the ornaments from last year that I missed.

1 ReplyNo normal person cares about solstice now there’s a paid upgraded event card

1 ReplyEdited by Morakx: 7/18/2022 8:16:03 PMNoone ever liked solstice. "Events" in destiny are known to be extremely grindy chore lists and microtransaction sales. Nothing more to it. Nothing thats fun to play, enjoyable to obtain or unique in general. Just boring, dull, excessive grind fiestas for some mediocre rewards. And all that during summer when noone wants to play games anyways. Great "celebration" when people get burned out by garbage gacha game design.

I won't grind, I'll probably just play it for fun.
