Solo lost sectors still aren’t worth it

1 ReplyI hate them. Like I legitimately despise doing them at the beginning of the season to get whatever the new exotic is. To me they're just not enjoyable. And to grind them for a good roll on an exotic I like? I'd rather chance Xur every single week and never get what I want than to set foot in the place. I don't mind a grind, but the grind has to be at least mildly fun. These are not.

Needed Curaiss of the Falling Star for my Titan yesterday. Got to Concealed Void boss at 7 minutes. I let the time go to 15 before opening the chest, got it first run.

9 RepliesFinally battled my way through my first legendary lost sector solo....no exotic armor. Sorry, but I'm not doing that over and over. I've just come to realize there are a bunch of new exotics I'll never own.

1 ReplyI got the mask of backrubs, for hunter, and the eyeball chest. The missile titan have to have, and the icefall disappointments. For warlock I only have the Jeff Golblum fly face. I think the only one left id want to get is the fart gloves for warlock. (I forgot all the sames of exotics)

Used overload cannon, barrier scout, and grenade mod anarchy. 5 - 6 minute runs. You can melt the boss with thundercrash, chaos reach, and the hunter I did stasis with double anarchy grenades. I always kill all the champions. I normally attacks those when I've got nothing better to do.

4 RepliesBe nice to ACTUALLY get something. Every time I solo it I get some shite armor and 1 enhancement core. Anything more and literally nothing else drops. Waste of time

2 RepliesI hate any of the ones with Fallen. Few things have made me soo angry I have to quit and come back later but Barrier Servitors sometime succeed. It’s stupid they can make an entire room Invincible even thru walls even other champions while they hide all the way in the back behind their unbeatable minions. There is a thin line between a flawless run and a complete cluster *Blam*. Doesn’t always translate well into a fun challenge to overcome. Just a mandatory prerequisite if you want the loot.

10 RepliesThey’re so easy to do. If they were rewarding, there’s no need to do any other activities. Just farm lost sector all day. But again, if lost sector were very rewarding. We would have people complaining that they’re too rewarding.

Certain lost sectors are short enough that you can farm it no problem. Others are... ones I'd never touch. If it's a short lost sector that's pretty quick- I'll farm it no problem. Like when boots first dropped- that was a pretty quick in and out Lost sector with 10 minutes per run at most. Spent maybe... an hour before my boots finally dropped? Now if it's the moon... -blam!- that I ain't doing those again. Those are too damn long.

ya, the fact you can do them over and over and get nothing, whats the pt, on top of the rng ai where champions port next to other champs and enemy groups, or porting into an area you can not get a clear shot like under the lift in europa

Bunker E-15 is absolutely worth it. Seriously, just free the robots and let them run it for you lol. You don't have to work very hard at all. Start it up, free some robots, and just survive until they're done. Watch a little youtube while you wait. Always wait for Bunker E-15 to be the lost sector with the exotic you want.

For me it completely depends on the lost sector. Some of them are fun and challenging. Others are just tedious and not worth the effort. From day 1 of Destiny 2 I felt like these were wasted spaces. That there was an opportunity to use them as a means for players to supplement their gear while going after the high end stuff. I think they have finally started to get to this point. That said, they are way too hit or miss when it comes to the return on time investment. No activity at Legend or Higher should drop blue items. No activity at legend or higher should have even a chance of dropping nothing. That makes them feel pointless. And people certainly shouldn't have RNG dictate how many times they need to engage with an activity before it is rewarding. At least not to the extent that happens now.

Nope, lost sectors were boring as hell to begin with and we have been doing them for years already, adding exotics to them didn't all of a sudden make them fun or new. I did do them for awhile when they added the exotics, so they got me back in them, but after getting most of the exotics available at the time, I just stopped and haven't gone back, cause they're just not fun, never have been. I don't really care about the exotics hidden behind them anymore.

I agree that the rewards when NOT getting an exotic are complete trash. Turning in materials to Banshee is more rewarding since you get a legendary item and high chance at an Enhancement Core.

I think that they are plenty worth it, some GOD TIER exotics are hidden behind them, stareater scales and cuirass of the falling star to be specific, however i do agree that some specific lost sectors are WAY too hard for the drop chance u get.

I think they should give out at least one enhancement code guaranteed for completion. Therefor not a complete waste of time.
