24 RepliesShe does have a point. The people never asked to take in house light. It was all ikoras decision. Such important choices must require a vote. This shows a disconnect between the interest of the vanguard and the humans they are sworn to defend. Also I read some of the lore tabs with the hunter destroying the guards shotgun. It was the right move but guardians shouldn't be the police force of the city. It should be up to regular people and frames to run one.

9 RepliesYep you have a right to withdraw your support but similarly she has a right to be emotionally and politically opposed to an alliance with a species who have invaded our solar system. Remember up until very recently the Eliksni have generally been trying to kill us just for our association with the Traveler - her experience with them and with the Vanguard, lead to a character who is 100% putting the city first with no reason to trust either group. Is she being political about it? Yes, she's a politician. Does that change who her character is? No, it is how she should react given her history. You're free to withdraw your support - again, totally fine, your choice - but this isn't a wild change for her character. If anything it's a very good representation of her.

Especially when she had a vision of what she believes to be the same group of Fallen helping destroy the City, just as she foresaw the Red Legion taking the City and her complacency on the matter almost cost humanity everything.

I’m really happy that they’re making everyone assholes tbh. Like I’m glad that that the vanguards, the factions, the city dwellers, Osiris. Everyone has flaws and can rn seen as a “villain” in a certain light. It’s been really fun watching dating go from “yay space halo w loot” to “oh god another existential crisis and also space racism”

Why do you think she said her simulations contain a certain element of unpredictability? She has to be the symmetry...for ever and always that thing you think you hate but love because of conflict...it gives you new pixels in the end.
