I spent zero money on Guardian Games and I'm proud of it.
With the exception of armor, which I bought with bright dust, all these emotes, transmat effects, ghosts, ghost projections, sparrows and ships are all cosmetic gimmicks.
Edit: Seeing, from the comments, how people either or both are missing the point of the post or just being trolls, like I said in a reply to one of the comments, its a weird flex, I know but I only thought to express myself on it because I feel Bungie forcibly shoves Eververse crap down our throats instead of all that time and energy potentially giving us a hair more of content like a new PVP map or two.

People seem to not understand that. I think my account is at 10k silver simply because each season I buy some just in case there’s something I want, and usually it ends up being sold for bright dust anyway, like the celestial sets, divinity ornament, and anarchy ornament. The seasonal challenges had me pretty much recoup every single bright dust spent on that stuff without doing a single bounty that wasn’t for a challenge.

It's difficult for some people to realize this is a business where the intent is to make money, they sometimes forget that the real world still exists even within our video games.

If your a bing rewards member, you can use bing points to buy Microsoft gift cards and then use that to buy eververse items. That's what I do. In one month I typically earn enough to buy $10-15 worth of Microsoft gift cards with my bing points and it only takes like 10 minutes a day to earn your daily points.

I’m with you. I only ever check to see what’s for sale for bright dust. If I like it and have the bright dust, I buy it. Otherwise I don’t. The only time I pay for silver is to get the 1K I need to get the season pass. But some people seem to feel like they need everything and are willing to pay real cash for the silver. If that’s how they want to spend their money, I’m fine with it. It must be working on the Bungie end or they would have removed EV by now.

Have played destiny 1 & 2 on and off since both betas never once bought silver for eververse. Bought it for D2 seasons sure, but eververse can suck my butt.

Most people expect to be able to buy everything in the entire store with Bright Dust. It's cosmetic, you don't need it...

I would've gone for the hunter one because I liked the cloak (not like it would be nice for Bungie to sell pieces individually at least). But I get it. I didn't even wanna spend BD because I am so tired of event gear having to be bought.
