no, i am nearly able to kill them in 90% of situations, if my team ever helped we'd stop em i don't think i should be shutting down supers on my own anyway fist of havoc with its health regen needs to be looked at, no roaming super should have that ability

5 RepliesEdited by Swiftlock: 10/9/2020 6:42:10 PMIt's good, but there is counterplay. Fists, Bombs, Thundercrash, etc. will squash it. Whirlwind Guard can block it then leave an opening for a counterattack. If you see them coming from far away, jump backwards while spraying them down with primary + swap to special + punch when they're close to try and get a kill or trade. If your Warlock is specced to do it, you can hover far out over the edge of the map and force the Spectral to disengage (or commit suicide trying to kill you). If you're in a fireteam, call out where the Spectral is coming from so your team can concentrate fire on them. Teamshooting is OP. I don't see where "bit much" comes from.

We don't need damage nerfs or anything like that, we just them to get rid of the massive -blam!-ing hitbox that almost all roaming supers have.

1 ReplyEdited by michael: 10/9/2020 8:22:55 PMAll melee based supers in destiny 2 have hitboxes that are too big. They lunge 90+ degrees and can kill people without hitting them. Spectral and fist of havoc are the worst. You often feel like you get undeserved kills because of how generous the hitbox is.

2 RepliesLong super Highest damage reduction Fastest attack speed Wallhacks Almost impossible to land consecutive shots on Bungie nerfed Nova Warp and not this why?!?
-
3 RepliesIts a bit bad. Needs 3 swipes to kill most adds.

In pvp maybe, but any nerf would destroy any viability in pve.

2 RepliesEdited by mikeyrox1234: 10/9/2020 10:16:36 AMThe only issue I have with it is that they can spam the light attack without any downside... and maybe because it has the highest damage reduction in the game while invisible.

Edited by Ghostfire239: 10/9/2020 8:17:00 PMI had Spectral get popped right above me around 4-5 times yesterday (and a bunch more that were activated further away from me) and I outran them with ease. Some of them even tried spamming light attacks to catch up, all they did was burn their super and still not catch me. The super is a pure melee super, it has no range attacks. Running from them is the best and safest counter or just shoot them if you have a good amount of distance. Not to mention that it has the most visible invisibility i have ever used. Normal invisibility is already easy to see, but Spectral literally turns you into a purple/black cloud of mist. It’s incredibly easy to see. It’s a strong super but it can be countered very easily. You just gotta be willing to acknowledge certain situations where you shouldn’t challenge them and you just run. It is a super after all. Out of curiosity, what exactly do you find so OP about Spectral?

6 RepliesAnd Thundercrash and the blocking sentinel aren’t? Sure bud

17 RepliesJust run? It’s pretty easy to do, hell shutting them down isn’t even that bad

4 RepliesShhhh....you'll stir the tryhards out of their crying about 600s routine to combat you on this.
-
Yes. It's the best super in the game and has been since its buff ages ago.

4 RepliesIt is like the old Striker Bottom Tree Super but on steroids. I did find out recently that if you back pedal on the Warlock in Stormcaller, they get murdered 😂😂😂😂.
