Change Telesto Catalyst
Hi,
because i read here about the Sleeper catalyst, is my question if they would change that, why not change Telesto aswell, because there you cant find any fireteams also, and i dont have enough friends, which want to play that raid on Prestige.
Also for solo players its just impossible to get, where there is not a single fireteam, which wants to play that raid.

I’ve got the catalyst, but would have no problem with it being moved to a more accessible activity Also the catalyst is p*ss easy to complete as you just go to Brother Vance and as long as you’ve done the Osiris weapons it’ll auto complete👍🏻

3 RepliesBut you can get the free chest solo from that raid on all 3 characters. Took me a while for it to drop a while back, but it's easily doable solo.

You need some “Esoterick” in you life. Go to his YouTube. He shows a solo way to get one of the chests. That’s what I did. Check my Titan.

8 RepliesAgreed. Those catalysts were stuck in those raids because Y1 D2 was so broken it was the only way to get people to run the raids. Now those catalysts are stuck in content that no experienced players want to run anymore.

3 RepliesNope. "You had to be there" Or "This is supposed to be a game based on making friends and being in a clan", so make friends and join a clan and then do the raid with them!

I agree, My father in law absolutely loves the telesto but despises raiding and I just don't have the time to raid. He'd be really happy with an alternate way to earn the catalyst. I'm not fussed, I like telesto but it's not one of my faves. If there was an alternative method to gain it like through nightfall or ordeal - I'd definitely consider it over trying to get it through rando raids - being a filthy casual and all.

17 RepliesThe "solo player" argument cant be taken in consideration. If you decide to play in a multiplayer game just to play solo, knowing how important it is to be in a fireteam. Thats your fault and the game isnt and shouldnt be designed for this kind of players. And there is fireteteams that want to do every raids. Just create a raid yourself, a lot of people wants the catalyst or just tje completition. Just take a week with good modifiers in the prestige lairs.

2 RepliesBetter solution will be to make all raids drop pinnacle drops on rotation. Increase supply of people wanting to do the raid and will fix a lot of issues and not also slap in the face people who got organised to get catalyst. GOS is mastered now so good time to do this. Personally I did the easy chest on all three characters once a week for a while and got it to drop eventually which took some organising. Generally people join and if you find a couple of others also needing it not too hard to run at the same time every week.

Just make Not Forgotten a strike drop for solo players who want a different path who have a hard time finding a team.

16 RepliesA game should not cater to elitists. Hiding loot behind Raid walls isn't the best thing for the game. There should be alternate ways to get everything. Let Raiders, Raid. Let Randoms, get the same loot as a Random, doing equally difficult tasks. Bungie should not appease people who want exclusive "rights to loot". Too many people on these forums see someone else getting something as hurting them. That simply is not true. Again, this is not the "give a trophy mentality to everyone", but everyone should have an equal opportunity to get one. Equal opportunity means alternate paths to the same goal.

1 ReplyI'm sorry but while Spire Of Stars has some mechanic who need some perfect coordination, Argos is one the most easiest " Raid " D2 has to offer. The " prestige " is the same as the normal raid except you need to respect a loadout and some modifiers. That's it. Yes, finding a group for this raid isn't going to be easy but even with people who don't know, it's really easy to do. Search people, do it and claim your catalyst. By the way... The catalyst can drop everywhere in this raid, from every encounter and it can even drop from the " secret " ring Chest. So do it too.

2 RepliesAgain, not true. Just cause you didnt get a team the sec you wanted one doesnt mean 'for solo players it's just impossible to get a fireteam'. I'm a solo player, got a team, and got the cat. Just make a post looking for a team cause you arent the only one trying to get it. The issue that comes up is people make demands when they make posts like 'must kwtd; have 'x' amount of clears, etc'. That tends to turn people off from joining even if they want to go for the cat.

8 RepliesIt is hard to get it at this point, I keep checking the app for a fire team but the rare time someone is doing EOW prestige it’s always know what to do prerequisite which I’ve never done. As far as the platforming glitch everyone keeps referring to, I think it’s ridiculous and cheesy to glitch through a section of the raid for one chest. I guess it’s just one of those things I’ll never get 🤷

2 RepliesYou can farm the telesto catalyst by doing just the first 2 chests : the chest after clearing ads before dropping down the shoot n the secret chest - me and all my friends got it from the secret chest - I didn't waste time completing raid with 2 side arms and a sword or whatever My buddy just got it this week - just go to fireteam finder in this app an post farming telesto catalyst- people will join
