Just beautiful
Dear Bungie,
Y1D1 Destiny 1 player here. Just wanted to say thank you for over 5 years of thoroughly enjoyable gaming. Admittedly there have been some dark days but largely and as a whole you have kept me engaged and entertained since day 1. No one that matters will probably ever read this post but I felt it needed to be said. These forums are littered with entitled whiners and so few positive posts, it is just sad.
So, thanks again Bungie. And Symmetry is possibly the prettiest weapon you have designed. Still miss my Fang of Ir Yut, but this gorgeous little number is a joy to play with.

A good post , I am sure that you reflect the comments of many Y1 D1 players. Also yes the latest scout is one of the better weapons that have been brought into the game.

Symmetry is the best scout rifle I’ve used in all of Destiny. And you’re right, it’s a beautiful design. I just hope the crucible players don’t ruin it -.-

12 RepliesThe season of Dawn weapons are some of the best designs in years. They’re absolutely gorgeous, especially the Steelfeather Repeater. I’m also very happy they’re not locked behind a raid, and it’s just a shame they couldn’t make a whole set. I’d love to see a pulse rifle in this style.

I agree. The franchise has had it's ups/downs like any, but there have been far more ups than downs. And the franchise has provided many hours of enjoyment for me. As for prettiest weapon, to me that is still the hawkmoon.

Couldn’t agree more. Everyone seems to forget about or weren’t around for the great content drought after TTK. I always chalk up the whiners as people who have the attention span of a gnat. If the game doesn’t engage you, don’t play it. But they always have to come to the forums looking for attention.

Say for instance they add factions back, sure many people asked for them back but it was Bungie who removed them in the first place for no reason. It’s like thanking a construction worker for repairing the wall they broke on purpose. They proceed to make awful decisions when directing the game. Last years season pass had its ups and downs but had far more originality than this one. The end of year DLC (Shadowkeep) was subpar when compared to any of the other end of year DLC’s, and was made to seem even worse due to changes such as Armor 2.0 which wasn’t needed at all. It became apparent how bad it was this season. This is Bungie without activision. I can’t even pretend it’s good like I did at D2 launch.

They'll always be things to like, love or dislike about the offerings but if they don't clean the plates they're ruining the whole value. They NEED to give some real content, seasonal activities and endgame goals for PvP players. They NEED to defocus Raids and all non-matchmaking activities for the majority of players who logistically cannot or struggle to have even access to them. They NEED to resolve the mess of elemental affinities and seasonal and activity specific armour mods. They NEED to address the Hunter meta in PvP for all players sake. They NEED to provide some shut off mechanism for perpetual unwanted Blue grade items. They need to do all those things QUICKLY and BADLY. Because it is a beautiful dish.

Symmetry is now my second favorite exotic. Underneath Bad Juju, which has been my child since I first got it back in Y2 of D1. Love the design, animation, perk is unique, etc. Bungie got this one right!
