They're claiming its reskinned menagerie, because it works in a similar way to menagerie. Of course its similarity to menagerie is tiny but the people on this forum always find something to complain about. Personally I think the season is actually looking better then I had anticipated. Ritual weapons are much easier to get, Sundial is 1000x better than vex offensive, I haven't gotten many of the new weapons but the ones I are really good and come with some new unique perks.

Exactly. The only thing that looked good from the stream and trailer was the story, but I actually love these completely new weapons and the addition of y1 weapons to the loot pool.
