LIKE. not reskin it. Meaning do something fresh and creative like menagerie was the first time. Surprise us with something cool and unique and fresh we wanna play. We've done this already. This is the third one. They took away last season's to bring it back reskinned for another $10. Think about that.

It's a $10 season with a significant amount of loot, content, and non-Vex Offensive mechanics. You're not getting something new or massive like Forges or Blind Well or a raid every 3 months

You failed to mention that the "Community" in your post is actually TWO very different and distinct communities. Let me clarify: Community #1: We want more activities like Menagerie! That was amazing! Bungie: Develops Mercury Menagerie with time travel and Psion Flayer bosses Community #2: Stop reskinning everything! We want completely new things every time!

Nope, the "two communities" are one in the same. "LIKE the menagerie" meant a nice fresh surprise, something new we haven't done. You won't find a single post where anyone said "keep reskinning it from here on out and keep charging us $10 for the reskin."

Instead of updating existing content to make it relevant they just dump more content that's very very similar. Heres a fine example, when the dawn h dropped the triumphs appeared and we all complete from last year, same for all the eververse gear. Pretty much fame thing happened at Halloween. It's just rehashed stuff. What's the motivation to keep playing? Very few activities give pinnacle gear.. Any that do are tied to shadow keep which means we have new Dawning gear with different mod slots that will cease to be relevant in 3 months.... Just like sundial....only this time it wont be because it wasnt updated....no they just remove it now, and next season will be exactly the same another mode where you just fight waves of trash. If you cant see this theres something very wrong.

They need to not be carbon copying it though. The issue is each time it’s copied nearly nothing is really changed. A new map with same exact thing isn’t what we pay for. Yes we want good activities. Not blatant copying of them. Think man it’s not that hard.

No but it is a reworked mission with just a bunch more enemies now. It’s not as boring as the vex offensive. It borrows a lot in a better way this time.

Even here in these forums creativity is abundant. Those in these forums posses far more creativity it seems. However initial play seems like some actual thought went into this season. My concern is them not explaining how we suddenly have obelisks Osirus seemingly has on each planet just for giggles. At some point we should have seen him build them or rather we should have noticed the wreckage. I’ve spent time everywhere and especially don’t recall tangled shore one.
