Maintenance began a little while ago, so it is likely related. Even though they don't intend downtime, it sometimes affects interactions with certain data systems.

I am constantly getting this error code but my husband who is in the same room is on and playing 🤔

Was he logged in before maintenance started? Usually the issue arises when you try to login after it started.
