• I love the game. It’s kept me invested more than any other has. The only thing I don’t like is losing 15 motes to the guy with Truth.

  • I like gunplay, so 30-60 min daily in patrol zones doing gunsmith bounties. On the other hand, post-Forsaken Bungie developments are so mind-numbing, that I lost hope for this beloved franchise :(

  • More diversity on PC but on console it's -blam!-ing annoying the Dust Rock LH/NF Wardcliff meta

  • It's complicated. Let's just leave it at that.

  • For me I enjoyed D1, but for D2 it's a meh.

  • The PvE aspect yeah not bad, can be better. The PvP aspect, I avoid that shit like the black plague.

  • I like it. But it wont beat my experience i had in d1. D1 had better raid encounters, weapon designs and maybe armour.

  • I like the world of Destiny but the game itself could do with some improvements. Less grinding and more engaging for a start, if you're going to make me play strikes at least reward me with something of worth instead of 2 material and blue engrams.

  • I loved D1, there was something about it that I just found amazing and it was great to have a group of friend that played as well. But with D2 I've pretty much just tolerated it honestly. It's missing a lot of what made Destiny so enjoyable for me. It doesn't help that my clan all moved on from the game because they didn't like it and now my clan is dead. Shadowkeep is the first DLC content that I have not preordered and I'm probably not going to play it in general. The directors cut and all of the info being released about it and the seasons pass (battle pass) has left a sour taste in my mouth. The Destiny franchise had so much promise and potential and Bungie has squandered it. It makes me sad because I really want to love this game.

    • I love Destiny, its universe, it’s lore. But lately I feel like the game lost what made it feel so enjoyable in D1 Y1&2. When I finish something in PvE I no longer feel triumphant, as if I had overcome an insurmountable foe. I remember that feeling when I first completed VoG back in October of 2016(I think D1 was 2016 I don’t feel like checking), I still can vividly remember sitting on my bedroom floor inches away from my tv fighting Atheon. I felt like I could take on the world after that raid. I had a similar experience with Kings Fall, where I woke up the whole house at two a.m. because we had spend three hours on Oryx. Destiny 2 lost that. I feel like a god now, nothing is truly challenging. I don’t even remember who I ran Last Wish with, I could tell you my VoG fireteam(who were all randoms). In terms of PvP, I don’t really know because one out of five D2 crucible matches actually feels like crucible. I’m no longer proud to be a titan. D1 crucible had a spark to it that got snuffed out long ago, but every now and then it flickers and you feel like you never left. In the words of one of my best friends(who I met playing D1) “I miss being able to take crucible as a lifestyle” ~iMensGoldBond

    • I don't like it but I'm addicted to it. Destiny is like a slot machine. You are drawn to the game because of the glowing lights, intriguing sounds, and potential to win. But most players don't understand the mechanics that go into making the game run. They buff you in lnitially to get you to have fun and play a while. As time progresses you begin noticing the subtleties that all add up against you: bloom, nerfing, buffing of other teams, lack of damage output, increase in damage input, and hidden stats. By this time you've invested a significant amount of time. So you keep going. Just when you think you've had enough, the game drops you something pleasant causing a rush of endorphins. This causes you to keep playing despite all the discrepancies. Bungie is going to keep you at the machine spending your money for as long as possible. They'll give you food vouchers and little wins just to keep you there spending. Unbeknownst to the player, the machine is rigged against them. Only giving them wins when it wants to. Of course, there's the occasional big winner who gives all the other players hope. But they will never be a big winner because the system can't handle lots of big winners. If everyone wins, the casino goes bankrupt.

      • I still do actually. Besides anything I say in these forums I've loved Destiny since the beginning. Began as a solo player in D1 on the ps3 moved to xbox and I'm still enjoying it. Not really happy as how things are going but I'm still gonna take it and keep playing. I'm just addict at this point. 800hrs in D1 and 2000hrs in D2.

      • Gambit and Banner are shit. Crucible is fun if you play from time to time. I loved raiding D1. This time not so much.

        • Yep. Most of the people on these forums like it so much that they develop an unhealthy relationship with it & the people that make it.

          • To keep it simple: Destiny -Ok in Year 1, could be better -Good in Year 2, although it sucked we lost Y1 gear to obsolescence -Great in Year 3, lots to do and collect Destiny 2 -Crap in Year 1, Warmind made it only slightly better -Ok in Year 2, not a fan of the Annual pass style of content, but had a better time. That being said, I'm not looking forward to Year 3 of Destiny 2. Sure, we're getting an expansion that takes back to the moon, but the new *ahem* 'Season Pass' and way they stylized 'narrative momentum' has me looking for the Recycle Bin on my desktop.
