Do I like destiny? Yes. Do I like the company behind it and how they are slowly turning it into your average f2p game with tons of microtransactions? -blam!- no.
-
I love it
-
I love destiny, I hate the meta. It has made raids boring as sin.
-
I've played it for way too long,I've been playing since Nov 2015,I still like it but I'm just sort of bored of it atm
-
Besides supers having to much armor i think the crucible is in a good spot overall. Way better than where it has been. PVE is really boring right now. I dont think the shadowkeep changes will help. Many of the upcoming changes concern me to the point of putting the game down and seeing where the cards fall. Besides, bl3 will be out by then.
-
Yeah but it can be really frustrating and annoying sometimes
-
-
If I didn’t, I wouldn’t play it.
-
Currently? To be fair not that much. The best points in Destiny for me were somewhere before the D1 DLC drops and D2 Forsaken. Currently I think we've devolved again from Forsaken, there's a lot to do, but so many of the systems are still broken. Shadowkeep is the last chance I'll give, but the Season pass system isn't looking that great.
-
Yes. No. Maybe. Yes: Gunplay. And couple of things that takes lot of time to write it down. No: Too much cosmetic stuff is only eververse. P2P. Lag, hack, cheat (on PC) Maybe: Lets see what Shadowkeep brings. Too much grind, too much challenge, too much chore Iam out. If these things above within reason I stay. Already preordered. Thank god I have money to waste. But I have less time to play. Should I quit my job? 🤔 Then I will have more time to play but nothing to eat. Decisions. Decisions. 🤔
Iam not sarcastic/trolling here I am just hoping that ppl like me who have jobs with unpredictable workshifts will have time to enjoy the game without going to full hardcore mode.
Don't get me wrong Destiny has quite a few flaws as we know, but then again is there such a thing as a perfect game?? It's one of the only games I always come back to, and I feel like now with Activision gone Bungie are starting to head in the right direction! Still a long way to go of course but quite a few of the changes coming in Shadowkeep seem to be improving the game for the better! Only time will tell, but yes I do actually like Destiny, have been a supporter since the Destiny 1 closed beta and will be for a very long time yet!

I like Destiny. I like the lore, the universe... Many of the game mechanics, however, make me want to sodomize the developers with various household objects. Usually a cactus. I find it really hard to believe these guys were responsible for Halo, a really great bunch of games.
-
Been a big supporter of this game. I like this game so much, love getting up with my clanmates and doing raids and stuff thats what I tell my friends who don't play this game that the raid memories on destiny 1 and 2 I have and continue to make are like no other experience. I liked soloing flawless shattered throne and the bad juju mission. I keep up with all the lore and try to do as many triumphs as I can. But I was told that bungie is introducing a battle pass to the game to where you will have to rank up a tier in the battle pass to unlock the item it has for you. That to me sucks because you can't choose what to try to obtain first or farm. You could possibly go like 20 battle pass tiers getting dumb stuff you don't want until you finally get something that you were interested in. Idk, I'm looking foward to shadowkeep, but not the battle pass.

I really like it,I play it more than any other game but alot of things in it could've been better.Strike specific loot in strike playlist like in D1,All old loot upgraded(all guns should have been given random rolls when Forsaken launched not just some),Better loot from activities(2-5 planetry rescources and a blue item from lost sectors, high value targets and public events is really crappy) but I don't mean being guaranteed a legendary everytime,Better looking armour designs and less reskins, more enemies in patrol areas(The Rupture on Io for example here are 3 enemies, over there is 3 and another 3 there and there) considering that 5 people can be in the same area at the same time.Blind well and The Shattered Throne should have their own loot not just Dreaming City gear. There is a lot more I could mention but yes I enjoy playing both Destiny games and can't wait for Shadowkeep.

It fills a very unique niche in the shooter genre that keeps me coming back every time something new comes out, or even just day to day. Do I wish “X” was better or “Y” needs tuning? For sure. Have I been ‘burned’ by Bungie at times? Yes. Have I heavily criticized their decisions at times? Undoubtedly. But...Destiny has always offered me, for the most part, a very fun experience and a wide variety of activities to partake in other games just don’t offer. PVE always feels great..the gun game, movement, and ability usage is just so well tuned and designed that I sometimes find myself mindlessly killing things in patrol for like an hour only to realize I have completely gone off track of what I originally wanted to do. D2 has offered me its moment, and D1 has had its fair share. D1 raids were where many memories and friendships were made. As never playing a game with raids before they were very exciting at that time. The leviathan raids were okay. I was never a huge fan of the delivery of the narrative for the raids, which made it far less impactful for me. Whereas Last Wish...the delivery of that raid was phenomenal. The story the directly lead to that resolution, which kicked off a multi-month tri-weekly delivery of a narrative that is moving Destiny towards its ultimate foe was very exciting and last wish is my second favorite raid following ttk. My only gripe is I firmly believe the cheese ruined what made Riven an interesting encounter, and turned her into a glorified strike boss. (Never cheesed her in ~90 clears and never will). Damn this went on a lot longer than what I thought...to firmly answer OPs original question, yes I truly do enjoy Destiny in past and present tense. I may take breaks when in a lull, but I will always come back

I love the game.
-
I enjoy it for the most part. PvP has its moments. PvE.
-
I hate this game with a burning passion.
-
Yes, I do. And if crucible wast just a bit more primary gunfights instead of special/heavy/supers, it would be 10+/10.
-
1 ReplyEdited by Racebum: 8/31/2019 6:10:36 AMDefinitely agree with you on that. Crucible especially. One eyed mask. Btch pistols everywhere. Grenade launchers. It's like the same spam over and over Oddly enough my best memories of Destiny are the house of wolves and that meta was also broken with thorn and tons if heavy. I'm reasonably confident Bungie doesn't want to make a balanced PVP in fact they kind of did at the beginning of D2 and a lot of people got bored with it. They miss their spammy crap.
-
PvP aside, yeah, I got destiny 1 about a week or so after it came out cause I played a free trial and loved it and played the hell out of it, the gameplay is so fun and it's so interesting (yeah, I remember trials of Osiris) Then not too long ago (maybe like a month ago) there was a MASSIVE sale for destiny 2, the entire game with all DLC's was only $40 and my friend who I played D1 with got it for me (I didn't get Destiny 2 when it came out but idk why lol) and I'm still playing it, I'm pretty sure I'll do a playthrough with the other 2 classes too
-
I love Destiny. My total Time in Destiny: over 2200 Hours (D1 560 + D2 1641) Enjoying every Second.
-
Edited by Bacon Wrapped: 8/31/2019 4:15:20 AMYes, I enjoy it quite a bit. I wish I had more time for it than I do so I could play one of these Raid things folks go on and on about. I don't usually don't know how much time I have available to play so I focus my attention on in-game stuff I can pop in and out of.
-
I like it more than most games.
-
Yeah. Why would I spend my free time doing something I don’t like?
-
I love the game. It’s kept me invested more than any other has. The only thing I don’t like is losing 15 motes to the guy with Truth.
