I used to love it. Just kinda meh now. Not going to blame Bungie or cry about this being wrong or that being shit. Just, I dunno, grew tired of it
-
I do like D2 but sometimes i feel like it really needs to be fundamentally changed. D1 on the other hand I always really enjoyed and still do whenever I get back on there. I don’t know, for some reason D2 has just never really felt as good as D1 did to me.

Only for the weapon system, destiny is the only game that heavily features handcannons with a super good system to it, red dead isn’t the same since its 3rd person with janky movement and first person with the same movement and isn’t as appealing like last word or ace of spades etc

I love the idea of Destiny; although, Bungie can't seem to fully realize that idea. They're so close, that's why I keep buying their stuff - hoping they figure it out - but I'm starting to wonder if they'll ever get there.
-
Yup. Wouldn't play a game I didn't enjoy.
-
since D2 came out it's been kind of hard to enjoy this game

Yes for the most part. I however am not happy with the ascendant shard type of bs we about to see next update for shadowkeep. People thought cores were bad- those other Mats for infusion will be worse. They had to do a trade off. If they rain cores like candy- infusion isnt meaningful anymore- however..... the bungie app community wanted cores to either drop like candy or be totally removed. Instead of totally removing a part of their game that could potentially -blam!- up the code...... cough cough Menagerie chest glitch perfect example cough cough.... they made it so the cores literally drop like candy. Not once have I dipped below 300 cores- last week I was told to stop using them as everyone gets to 750 by default come new light. Since cores drop like candy- and since they catered to the super casual crowd.... now they need a trade off. So next expansion it will not only he hard af to get max light but infusion will be a -blam!- too as you need not 1 rare item now- u need 3 including shards and Matt's and glimmer. Thank you short sighted community. Yes I know 1 person doesn't represent all- but the trending topics quite literally.... for 5 months have been about cores or how bad destiny is- while these same people literally play the game they supposedly hate and think is too broken. So when it comes to this game- I can go with it. Idc if it is hard or easy to do end game stuff. I thoroughly enjoy bungie's content along with surfing reddit, YouTube, instagram, and twitter for the bungieverse. I go on this app to rant and read rants and see salt. I love the game- I hate how they sometimes listen to their bungie app forum as this one forum has the same 50 haters posting consistently and they upvote each others stuff or downvote. (Feels like 50- I see the same names- and muted most of the non critical crybabies).

I like the game
-
Yes I do very much, I have alot of fun with it and it was my best friend who got me into it. I planned on getting it a while after release but I got it pretty shortly after and I loved it, fun times me and him had
-
I dont understand if someone plays this game and hates it. Games are ment to bring joy. You can have complaints but if all you do is complain and cant find fun in this game than gtfo.
-
1 ReplyLoved destiny 1, hate destiny 2.
-
It's a complicated love/hate relationship.
-
Destiny 1 still love it. Just got it on PS4 and I I’m having more fun running the campaign than I have enjoyed Destiny 2 in a long time. Destiny 2 not so much
-
I did...do...yes? Battered spouse syndrome here.

i love the world of destiny , the gameplay of shooting aliens in the face with space guns and space magic , while the game is far from perfect , it does alot of stuff right , and for a filthy casual like myself i can still get alot of enjoyment out of it , i look forward to the future, but im also not just a destiny player , i play a few different games , i just play what im in the mood for at the time , sometimes im jumping in with friends other times solo its all the same to me

Shadowkeep will be Bungie’s first passion project since D1 ended. And since Luke is in charge and it’s 100% on them, I think it will be really good. Luke did make TTK.

Yeah.

Edited by themirror2man: 8/31/2019 5:53:43 PMYes. The hampster wheel aspect of it. No other game ive ever played has got my attention like this game. Heck, im not even a "gamer". Destiny has succeeded IN MY EYES because the reward/chore ratio + open world experience is enuff to me to keep me interested. If it were made "harder" i would probably gravitate away from it and the video game industry as a whole. But this game and i would say Skyrim have given me enuff joy to continue. Even at the prices Bungie charges for the games dlc content im down for it. There are problems in the game with pvp and matchmaking, this is so true. I think going forward Bungie should take that serious. The pve aspect im content for the most part with Destiny's progress. At the end of the day Destiny is a video game that requires players to be satisfied and interested in their game above the rest. 80% of me says they are doing it... The 20% says all the complaining on these forums may have a point. Anywhoo, my 2cents. Bring on Shadowkeep.
game would be cooler if my toon had a flamethrower😎
pve yeah i like raiding and pve stuff its peaceful pvp if they had dedicated servers and decent matchmaking i would say yeah i like but its a shit show hell hole waste of time
-
I've been playing since House of Wolves and I still love the game. Yeah it gets frustrating sometimes, but that's just a part of it. It wouldn't be fun if it were easy.
-
4 RepliesNot that much anymore thanks to Bungie and streamers ruining the franchise. They turned the game into a shitty lag montage chore simulator.
-
3 Replies
i personally enjoy it for the most part, the meta is annoying though edit: thank you all for being very calm and respectful with your opinions, didnt expect this to blow up like it did.
I don’t really like anything. Just going through the motions. Destiny has its place just like food and work
-
for the most part yeah, I hate somethings about it but, I'm still playing it.
-
12 Replieswhat's your favorite food? would you still eat it if it's covered in dog shit because that's what Destiny 2 feels like
