Why can’t we revert our Solstice armour?
If you remember in year 1 Solstice we could equip ornaments on our Solstice armour that essentially reverted the armour to it’s common or rare visuals, but stay at legendary rarity. I’m a Warlock main and I want to revert a few pieces back to it’s rare form especially the bond.

5 RepliesI don't care. I did the original Solstice grind in 2018 and the armor was worthless q couple weeks later. Now I'm smarter than that. I rather even play solo comp than waste any time on this. I already did the grind, not gonna do it again.

9 RepliesBecause the "hardcore" crowd loves half assed content locked behind tons of grind. It makes their virtual peepees feel bigger for having earned it. Then they get to say things like "if you don't have it, maybe Destiny isn't for you."

However not being able to do it right away seems like a lazy decision. I much like the more simplistic look of the rare armor even though there’s an odd gap between the neck and helmet on the warlock armor.

wpuld be nice, because the legendary look is more as just trash .....dunno what bad designers are working at bungie, but armor designs, espacaly for a warlock is a total fail and shit. the solstice titan armor ( thge green state of it ) looks the best .... but to be honest its embarassing what bungie did with this event and the armor .

Yes bungie please see this and change it so it can. I love the green war torn armor yet will never wear it if I am penalized for equipping it.

I actually only like the look of the green version we first get and was grinding with the hopes of being able to revert back to that look after I masterwork everything but if this isn’t possible then I’m not sure I want to waste my time

Yeah, I still have my original set in my vault. I do like this years Solstice armor better, but the option to allow a visual revert to a previous state would've been nice. 😑

Very disappointed as well. Went back to the y1 solstice cloak so I can wear the blue rarity version. It’s the only plain long/big-hood cloak in the game.

Yeah the hunters cloak is amazing with any set at the rate quality, but the gold gilding makes it niche at best at legendary.

Ugh not good news. There are not many shaders that look good with the gold and the ornaments. Especially the arc ornaments. I love the look of the blue armor with the ornaments.

Drained Warlock bond is definitely the best one. Why would I want an ugly big ball as my bond? That was the last design and giving me a more fancier one doesn't change my opinion of it.

5 RepliesI agree that Warlock rare armour especially doesn’t look that bad, but this is bungie we are talking about: All they do is regress and not learn anything. Hacks playing devs.
