Is it possible to get items back after lost in postmaster?

For a long time I thought that when postmaster is full, you lose the most recent things, but apparently it's not... After a long grind in the EAZ, I just lost two exotic engrams, three exotics and 4 last wish keys... I wonder if there is any chance I can get those back... F

  • Nope. The postmaster is not meant for storage. Anything you want to keep, take it out of there, or you risk losing it.

Sadly, no; items lost through Postmaster overflow are gone. Please see: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/46166
Postmaster Once a Social Space has been unlocked, players will gain access to the Postmaster. If an item is not collected before returning to orbit or proceeding to an alternate destination, it will be sent to the Postmaster. Items held by the Postmaster may be lost if not manually retrieved and stored in the Vault. Items are discarded from the Postmaster when accruing over 20 "Lost Items" or deleting a Character. Bungie does not replace in-game items that are lost, or discarded. (Deleted Item and Character Policy)
Bungie has stated several times to not use the Postmaster as extra storage; it's intended for emergency storage and should be cleared out as soon as possible to avoid losing items. Older items are pushed out by new ones; if it always pushed out new items, a full postmaster would only get 1 new item period, as only the most recent item would be repeatedly replaced when an item went to the postmaster.
