Everything that needs to be said about the atrocity that is Crucible has been said many times before, but it falls on deaf ears.
My point is simply: If Bungie doesn't care about Crucible and is just going to pretend it doesn't exist, then stop making it a quest requirement so I can do the same.

2 RepliesCompared to pvp in Destiny 1, Destiny 2 pvp is perfect.

Destiny pvp has always been an unbalanced mess.. Don't take it seriously at all, that'd be a huge mistake. And other than pinnacle weapons, crucible participation is pretty basic and easy. It's not like the exotic quests require you to get to 2100 comp score or something
-
I mean, why should you get all the content/loot if you don’t play all the game, that just what I think tho
-
2 RepliesWell it's not that bad just shoot the guy shooting you
-
I say put every quest just in PvP
-
I enjoy the ever-changing metas that roll out from time to time. But the bugs need to go, ASAP!

As a Destiny 1 veteran hoping back into Destiny 2 I'm honestly laughing at people complaining. I mean alot of these complaints are certainly valid, but they pale in comparison to the shit I had to deal with back in the day. I've really only come here to say that I'm glad I don't have a vested stake in the dumpster fire that is Destiny PVP anymore.

Having trouble? Just skip the quest bud.
-
Idk. I like it. Don't really like using autos and scouts in it but I'm ok with other guns. I'm not amazing but also not bad...idk. I always see people say how bad it is but I lose some and win some...idk.
-
Seems fine to me. I win and lose.
-
Its really not that bad other then disconnects tbh but that's partly based on the players internet aswell
-
7 RepliesWhaaaaa! Whaaaaa! Make crucible the only quest requirement. Stop forcing me to play PVE lol.

3 RepliesYou aren’t meant for the crucible guardian

7 RepliesOther than a couple guns and small maps crucible is better than its ever been in d1 or d2. I’m not even amazing at it but it feels way better than year one with more variety than d1. If they released new 6v6 maps and reduced roaming super toughness (as they plan) then I’m gonna enjoy it...

My point is simply: If Bungie doesn't care about Crucible and is just going to pretend it doesn't exist, then stop making it a quest requirement so I can do the same.
Crucible is like many things in which one may triumph over another. Otherwise, everyone would have a 1.0kd and find every match boring and quit. I fail to see what you are calling Bungie to do for you. Would you like to remove every weapon that you die to because you are frustrated with loss? Or remove crucible entirely because you feel you cannot handle the risk of loss? If you lose 2 games in a row, take a break. If you want to win, 4 stack with communication. Solo queue generally requires you to be capable of carrying your blueberries without communication. Git gud is undoubtably a better piece of advice to you than your advice to Bungie to remove challenges within their game. Life isn’t going to be a cakewalk my friend, and neither is a quest for a powerful weapon. I am not the best pvp player I would say but I reached fabled. Persistence is key

I enjoy it

4 RepliesCrucible is widely regarded as an unbalanced, unenjoyable mess by people who suck at crucible. And bungie! stop making quests for this boring mess of pve.
-
Only thing i would agree of OP post is that focusing on pvp kills for quests and enjoying pvp is 2 diff things. Cause if im trying to get weapon kills for quests, i cant enjoy pvp when my mind is focusing too much and gets me killed. If im just playing pvp and not concerntrating on pvp quests then im enjoying it and dont get killed as much.

Tbh I understand where some of you guys come from but I think pvp is the best part of destiny when I play crucible I enjoy it with friends and every match I play i think man what could I have done to play better Yes I understand crucible isn’t in the best of positions right know but it used to be worse you know back where only primary’s existed so it’s not a dumpster fire compared to what we began with

8 RepliesIf you expect to get every piece of gear in 5he game please expect to play the entire game. Crucible and Gambit are far better than 90 pecent of the PvE content and many people agree.

1 ReplyEdited by Hatter: 7/17/2019 2:00:33 AMPosting just to get rid of the....bad number (now it's 667). Actually no, real talk, I dropped a 39 k/d/a undefeated with redrix today. Oh. Hell. Yes. (Getting tired of these negative posts. Figured something eles would be nice).

12 RepliesMost people that don't like Crucible wouldn't like PvP in any game, sbmm should have more of a priority but a bad player is still a bad player.

6 RepliesI bet you still it though

131 RepliesEdited by ShrewdShogun: 7/16/2019 9:26:06 PMI think i see the issue with the OP. Seems like they are a bit of a PvE specialist. It seems to me that players who specialise in PvE generally hit the light cap before PvP players do and they can't wait for Iron Banner so they can jump in a 6 stack (i know right? 6 stacks in quickplay or Iron Banner tell you all you need to know about their skill level or more appropriately their lack of ANY pvp skill) and try and pub stomp lower level randoms. During this time the PvE specialist will not moan about PvP and experiences a false sense of security and believe that despite their sub overall 0.75 KD that they can handle themselves. Then one of these quests to get a gun requires some headshots in PvP or something and Iron Banner isn't currently active. They choose rumble because they want to get it done fast. This is where the dream falls apart for them. They've never killed a guardian without 2 - 5 other guardians holding their hands but it can't be that hard right? Game after game they get smoked, and are constantly bottom of the table. Frustration builds, they're scared, the power fantasy is gone. They come to the forums looking for support. Maybe even ask their clan mates for upvotes. Bungie needs to hear what they have to say about PvP. TL;DR
Get gooooooooooooooooooood : )
Edit: LoL @ all the negative KD players who fill this profile of player I have described and who have hurt feelings. Thank you ❤️ Edit: Solo player who lives in the Rumble playlist. There can be only one winner. Thank you for all the replies from the salt lords who never Rumble, the team shooters with pinnacle weapons they were carried to and who take them into Rumble and die when there’s no one to help during a 1v1. I ❤️ you all. Please come to the Rumble playlist. https://www.destinykd.com/d2/xb/PeterParker150 Hot tip: Black Scorpion 4SR Final Edit : Much love to all the haters to whom my post applies. I laughed when i wrote my post, i laughed at your replies. Seems like i hit the nail on the head about PvE players in Iron Banner hahaha. PvP has a lot of issues, a lot of you have a lot of issues, I'm hoping Shadowkeep sorts out the former. Much love to everyone in the d2 community. So much passion!!!
