Refurbished black armory shader DOESN'T drop.
Dear bungie, can you do something about the abysmal drop rate of this shader? I have scrapped around 100 weapons with it on them to no avail, grinding way too much of the black armory forge for it. I know you probably wont see this, but it would be nice if it was fixed.

I got mine by dismantling a non-frame BA weapon from the Gofannon forge

1 ReplyI feel your pain on this! I've been grinding Forges for the last couple of weeks to complete Triumphs and the Blacksmith title. One of the only Forge related things needed was the refurbished, Satou and Bergusian shaders for the collections badge. The refurbished shader (and other Forge shaders) will drop but like a lot of things tied to titles it's RNG and can involve a savage grind. Take it from a fellow Blacksmith, this is by far the most aggravating one to get. Bergusian night is the only one that comes close. It has either a 1/10 or 1/20 chance to drop. That means this damn blue shader has a 5-10% chance (i don’t remember which) to drop. That’s dumbass low. I got mine on frame 61. I also found that grinding out a weapon in its respective forge for that forges shader alongside trying for this shader works as a double whammy. I got all my shaders by frame 70. Another alternative is to kill the 2 roaming bosses on EDZ and Nessus for a chance at those. It’s slightly faster. Best of luck, and pray to RNGesus.

1 ReplyPretty much same here, someone once told me if the shader is on a curated weapon drop and you dismantle it then it’s a guaranteed shader from it so you’ll get it. Not sure though 🤷♂️

I dismantled about 200 black armory guns to get it. The ridiculous thing is, once I got it, every second gun I dismantled dropped it.

So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold

On my other account I went through over 100 frames before I got the blue and white shader. [b][i][u]100[/u][/i][/b] 😭 But I enjoyed BA so no worries.

I'm with you there I've scarped around a 100 myself with no luck even though this is a blue rare quality shader it's drop rate is way lower than Legendary shaders are. A Rare that's rare, it's almost funny. . . Mean while my brother has scraped maybe 15 and got it, rng is so picky and lopsided on who gets what and how easily.

2 RepliesIt took me awhile to get this sucker to drop for me as well, I still don’t have the Meyrin shader to this day and I forge the only 2 weapons(Kindled Orchid and Tatara Gaze)that can be forged to the Goffannon(probably spelled incorrectly) every week to get the shader on hopefully one of them and still a solid nope.
