If you can stop dropping me in a forge solo, that'd be great.
Especially when someone joins at the goddamn zero seconds left.

The latter part may be the most frustrating. On the other hand; there are less people doing the forges because of increasingly diverse content.

If I go in solo, I just keep killing blues, leaving the balls on the floor and hopefully someone joins, it's happened a few times but it's not impossible as long as you keep the timer ticking over.

1 ReplyThey ran a bunch of the playerbase off, so yeah, they should probably adjust the matchmaking to let you sit in orbit a bit longer and give more time for players to join up.

I only do 1 frame per day and don't even forge everyday because of it. Blindwell and Forges have problematic matchmaking. My region must really suck because it usually takes a long time. A few days ago I recorded a part of my wait where I popped a tonic at the start and I finally got a team in with 16 minutes left on the tonic. Like I said, a lot of activities are not aging well. It would be nice if these QoL changes are addressed.

Weapon frames still require you to go through retàrded amounts of loading screen and fast travel bs 4. You still can only hold 1 frame at a time This is why forges are fundamentally unenjoyable, inefficient and non practical ways of farming for loot. Once these get fixed, which will never happen, forges will be relevant and enjoyable content, but for now they can quite frankly rot.

2 RepliesRestart your box before every play session. Cache errors can build up and cause matchmaking issues. Trust me. It helps. This games code is "problematic".

2 RepliesI hardly have problems with matchmaking. The worse that happened was a few seconds left on the timer, but I got busy right away and we managed to recover.

I only get put in solo 1 in 20 times, I leave and come back and always get a full team on the next try.

7 RepliesWhile i understand your frustration there has to be a balance between queuing and starting the forge. The time you have to wait in the queue is probably near the limit of what a average person is willing to wait. It's far better to give you the option of soloing the forge or quitting out and re-queuing than to make you wait. I guarantee that if they make the wait time until you get 2-3 people you and others will be making a post about the wait time is to long.

I got this game later when Forsaken had been out for a long time and when I finally got caught up in light to the level for Black Armory, Season of the Drifter was out, so it was extremely hard just to get the very 1st mission done for BA due to the change. I think if they either lowered the difficulty/power required or made it so you could solo would allow players that weren't able to try it when it was the max content a chance to see what they missed and what Bungie did. If they don't do something to fix it then I guess they are just making content for players that get to the max light fastest and leaving the rest in catchup mode for eternity, which is becoming a reason I'm slowing starting to stop playing because just when i catch up, the next thing comes out and I miss the chance to see the lore/scenery/cut scenes/etc.
