Edited by TheArtist: 12/18/2018 4:58:22 PMYes. The game is shaping up nicely. ..and unlike Bungie with Destiny, Bioware is coming out of the blocks leaning INTO the game's action-RPG side. Rather than fighting against in and trying to get the game to play as a shooter.

10 RepliesEdited by Andrashimmortal: 12/18/2018 9:23:01 PMEh, idk. The lack of trading just makes me think the content is lacking enough that they think trading will ruin the experience. What, me wanting to trade a purple gun archetype I don't like for a purple one I do like is going to ruin the game? If trading would ruin replayability for the game, that doesn't speak very well for the quality of the actual content itself, now does it? As someone who participated in the closed alpha, while the intro was good and had a decent amount going on, the one regular mission they gave us was just boring ad clear with some voiceovers. Thrilling. Add on top of it all that they're going to have it be online-only, it's going to be just like Destiny with its limited lifespan. Only playing Destiny because I'm bored enough after finishing everything I like better and I got most of it on sale or as gifts, so the concept of paying sixty bucks for a disposable game with likely subpar content is absurd to me.

This game looks -blam!-ing epic!!

I’m super excited for this game, I think EA has realised that this is their final chance to redeem themselves. Hopefully they don’t mess it up

Another Twitch stream coming this Thursday, showing some Interceptor gameplay among other things (mainly because they planned to show Interceptor the other week but they had technical problems with their stream and had to cut it short)
-
I have hope for it. It's just the EA logo that makes me nervous

Amazing all the angles in Anthem. The world is wide open. They are listening to these forums. Early previews don’t seem bought and paid for. This could be a legit game.

1 ReplyI like how they are leaning more toward the RPG element of making builds, rather than the shooter like builds(Destiny and The Division) I love min/maxing and tailoring my build to best suit my play style. I'm still a little iffy on the story, but the gameplay side of things looks better and better. They way they are trying to make builds diverse kinda reminds me a little of Mass Effect 1. You choose the best play style for you and are not as limited like how it was in ME2 and 3.

1 ReplyLooks great if they keep it the way it is were all the perks stack it’s gonna be sick it’s also nice when they said the blueprints level with you instead of having to find just a higher level blueprint
now am I the only one who keeps rewatching all there streams or am I just crazy

probably crazy either way
3 RepliesFelt like Diablo 3 loot system. So I am excited

44 RepliesIt's made by EA. You're gonna have to pay $65 for just 4k graphics.

5 RepliesAnthem is getting the "wait and see" treatment. Just like The Division 2. I'll most likely buy both, but they have to get good user reception. I dont trust name brand reviews.

7 RepliesI hate watching internet videos. Give me text so I can actually digest the info.

Yea, I watched it and it all sounds good. Every stream I watch leaves me even more curious. Just need to discuss the end game in more detail and if that looks like the gameplay loop Is as good as everything else has looked, I will be a player.
-
Hopefully it does well. It won't be good for Bioware if it has a questionable launch.

4 RepliesBeen following anthem from day one.
