Are you sick of the weeb iron banner armor and want the medieval knight armor to return?
This isn't the first time I've made one of these posts and it won't be the last. Bungie, enough is enough. Quit it with the samurai theme, its been like this for five seasons now. Go back the iron banner style from year 2 and year 3 from d1. The iron companion armor was some of the best looking armor we ever got. Quit it with this weeb garbage.

Also an idea I thought was cool was an ornament for helm of saint 14 thats like the iron companion helm with s14's plume. What do you think?

Im a weeb but I've hated every IB armour so far. My favourite by far was the Rise of Iron 'medievil' versions with chainmail ect. I would LOVE that back

YES PLEASE. It's so ugly, it doesn't fit with the iron banner idea at all. Nobody wants to look like some weird ass samurai while shooting aliens. They have that gross brown with dark green on those sheet metal armor.

Love the Samurai armor - but agree that seasons should match the theme. Forsaken should have looked like tangled shore/scorn gear...

Next set is going to be Egyptian themed, basically all recycled D1 trials gear.

D1s Iron Banner armor was so much better i miss the Iron Regalia Vestments for my Warlock, wish they would bring it over to D2

But we are the [i]new generation[/i] of iron lords! A new generation brings about a new style. Seriously though, not crazy big on the current look. D1's was a little more appealing.

I'm sick of "iron banner control".... hearing that is almost as bad as finger nails scraping a chalk board. Not to mention there are never any new guns to go for.... the next iron banner were literally playing for guns we've already had 1000 times.... whoopity doo.

I miss the knight / viking looking armor back in D1. D2 should bring ur back or instead use the samurai armor. I dont like the new forsaken cop looking armor

I loved the New Monarchy Titan armor. Very medieval for D2. But I miss the D1 Iron Banner Armor for Titans, specifically the Iron Companion set.

16 RepliesMy top 3 picks for a different style would be, from 3-1: 3) A Native American inspired set. That seems pretty cool to me. 2) A Norse/Viking set. That would just make any class look badass. 1) Doomguy. We need to look like we’ve killed gods before, not like prissy princesses. So, I will say it again, Doomguy inspired set.

I like the lore behind Gjallarhorn and how it was crafted from pieces of armor from guardians who fell at Twilight Gap. It would be nice if they made 3 armor sets using that method that looked as dope as Gjallarhorn.

The artistic designer for IB throughout Destiny 2 definitely made bad/mediocre decisions in terms of the character's general esthetic look when wearing the complete IB armor. Please bring back the same inspiration you had from Destiny 1.

I agree with you. It would be cool if they implemented some sort of system like they did in Destiny 1. Where we could work on getting old engrams for past iron banners. It would be cool if we can get past faction gear and emotes also.
