Are you Ikellos haters happy now?
All you haters out there got Ikellos nerfed. Now the energy slot has one less option.

Is it really that bad? Their are a ton of other options in the secondary slot. It will bring some variety into the game.

Not gonna lie. If Ikelos is all you can use and your complaining it got a nerf when it barely changes the results then you need to get good and learn how to use summat other than a shotgun

It’s still pretty good lol it’s not like Trench Barrel got nerfed to the ground. Also you must have bad weapon rolls for secondaries because there are other options out there, of your open minded.

It's actually still just ass good especially if you barrel stuff the bosses. Now when they stomp you, just punch to activate it again :) Or be a Warlock with Well of Radiance, get a punch and basically have better trench barrel with the Empower buff ;)

On the contrary, the special slot now has MANY options. Would you actually use something else before? Ikelos is still relevant. You can still wreck with it. Now other things are just usable too

Meh, I neve really liked it or used it yes its strong, but I rather have Lunas in that slot.

2 RepliesJust refresh it with another Melee... cry me a river it's now slightly harder to melt everything in seconds with it. It shouldn't have been that much stronger than all the exotic heavys to begin with. Like remember Acrius? I don't either... and even top tier like Sleeper, and Whisper barely compete with it, so yeah maybe it deserved some slight balancing but we certainly never hated on it. I have it too and love it all the same. But hey maybe now I'll finally use a different special weapon more than once a month. That would be nice wouldn't it? Not feeling glued to one weapon?

I think they did this because they're putting trench barrel on other guns. It made sense being OP on a single hard grind gun but wouldn't on others.

Never got the weapon so, I used other weapons in that Slot to compensate and I've done just fine. And, there was never a peep about people saying it needs nerf, even in my clan. So, I'm not sure where you got your idea people were upset about it being OP. Just chalk it up to Bungie pulling another Truth Nerf on a shotgun. Btw, this is the 2nd change to the shotgun. The first was making it solo only. #Bringback4thHorseman

Jokes on Bungie, i'm still using it. Even if it means getting a second melee in breaks the stun lock on the boss and I get stomped into a wall and die.
