Where shots seem to pass through enemies.
Where aiming is suddenly too heavy or too light.
Where your shotgun doesn't kill for explicably no reason.
Where trading happens when they shouldn't.
Where you face full stacks while running solo.
Where Supers take almost no damage whatsoever.
It's like Destiny 2 has a huge factor in 'fake difficulty', but is so subtle in hiding it.
I mean, Bungie was caught throttling XP gain, what else could they be doing?

Overwatch does something similar to that, that's why the top ranked players on there still only have like a 60 - 70% win/loss ratio

Never had a connection issue in a game that was going terribly. Always find those matches where "you have been sent to orbit" on a good well needed game.

3 RepliesHad a comp game last night where this streamer wouldn’t die for anything and would always one hit me with a shotgun Yet, when I hit her full blast to the chest, it barely takes a small chunk of her shield I’m at max light and I was always at close range. This shouldn’t be happening at all. She never once missed her shots. I was convinced she had an unfair advantage just because she was a girl... and a streamer
-
and I thought it was just me...misery loves company. I have had most of those things happen to me and a lot recently!!
-
This is sadly sooooo thru!!!!
-
you have no idea how much I am laughing right now
-
Definitely feels that way in Gambit. Destroy primevil in first round, next two rounds other team melts before we can get motes filled. Did they say there was a handicap thing to “balance” a win and “make matches more exciting? Anyone got a link? I can’t find it now. But whatever it is, it pisses me off. If you win, you win. You lose, lose. Done. Don’t drag out matches. It’s why peeps leave. I’ve certainly wanted to several times. 👻

I thought this may be the case but then I realized that bungLe has devolved in talent to the point I don't think they could implement these things on purpose. My bet is pure garbage code, no testing, and no proper sdlc. That and run it all on highly exploitable p2p equals the dumpster fire that is d2

14 RepliesWhy would the developers spend time and resources to make sure you don't play well? I really doubt Bungie thinks you're that important. Fact is, this game is always going to be extremely random and its at the mercy of fluctuating internet spends. God knows what other variables. Don't get me wrong, I get really angry and salty. I just think it is good to eventually gain some awareness and not waste time on things you can't control.

1 ReplyPlease tell me you are trolling?

I really want to buy into this conspiracy because I’ve said the same thing myself in frustration. Yet I think it’s really just how unstable connections are in this hybrid peer-to-peer system on top of bad shots and hubris.
-
9 RepliesIts actually pathetic that people blame bungie for their own ability, i never experience any of this issues apart from running in to 4 stacks in comp, which is my fault for not getting in a 4 stack myself
-
7 RepliesIt’s called ‘peer to peer’... yes, in 2018... Can be excused considering Bungie is a small indie developer..
-
Well shit yeah I've had the same problem with my shots not connecting with what I aim at... Certain my round should have hit, even if I aimed for the head and yet nothing... I just chalked it up to bad server connection though...
-
Trust me, know the feeling. I can obliterate everyone on the enemy but because the enemy can feed off of my stupid teammates, I lose. But I guess I'm just bad at video games, right?
-
4 RepliesThe lengths people go to try and explain away their personal shortcomings or inconsistencies in this community is unreal
-
1 ReplyThis game isn't very consistent so yes you'll get lot's of trades and shotguns will not always one hit kill when you want them to welcome to destiny
-
This is the problem with not having dedicated servers, we'll literally never know where the problem is.
-
Its true also rewards you if you suck. I got two forsaken exotics for losing in gambit lol
-
That would explain why I have yet to get any exotic drops since the dlc came out. But my friend can play for the first time after 3 weeks and get 4 drops in a single day.
-
2 RepliesYES. I be shooting my fusion straight deadass on to them and sometimes they just walk it off like nothing happened, I swear I’m not insane.
-
How come I die from Misadventure or the Architects, when I use my Super too close, but the other guardian escapes when they do the same thing?
-
I must be nerfed from day one 🤔
-
i have also personally experienced the things that you listed.
-
The full stacks thing is just stupid. Just because they put a 4 stack together doesn’t meant they’re good. I’ve been grinding through comp solo, and I’ve won more against 4 stacks than 2 or no stacks.
