It has begun... raid elitism
Almost all of the LFG posts I see are 590+ 10 completions emblem required. Will check tracker.
Man get outta here with that bullshit. I've been helping underleveled and underprepared people through the raids since VOG days. The acidity and elitism bothers me to no end. Learn to play the game and stop asking to be carried through the raid.

Go to the Destiny community on you consoles. A lot of the dudes in the PS4 D2 community are awsome. Most are 540 or lower

People doesn't like to get stuck in a certain activity because an inexperienced player, but there are some (a huge amount of them) available for teaching, and with enough patient for waiting and explaining every aspect of every encounter. Just be honest when you try to find or create a new group with random people, and let the "stupids elitist raiders" get frustrated with their stupid standards. There are always out there a bunch of chill people that you can ask for some help. Here some simple key aspects you must consider: - Be honest and do not pretend to be better than them. - Listen every advice. - Learn from your mistakes - And finally, when you master the raid, return the favor and find some random to teach them.

Don't get " I won't have time to teach you this time so I need educated guardians " confused with "elitism". If you want to be taught and helped through one, that's what the "guided" raid option is for. Besides, nothing is stopping you form making your own detailed post to find like minded guardians with similar needs to put together a team.

Honestly ur fine if u have just a couple completions lol haven’t had time to do the newest raid yet but it’s always been this way. Very little difference between 5 and 20 completions. I just ignore crap like that and request an invite anyways

3 RepliesWhen I join raids from theses kinds of posts, I've just found it funny that at least 50% of the time the poster was the unquestionably worst player of the party and often hadn't even completed the raid once themselves. Don't get me wrong, the other 50% of the time the poster is a full-blown expert. However, I've had equal amount of success/fun/frustration with both the expert raid team and the novice raid team. Sometimes, "experienced" people just can't execute and cause perpetual wipes. Sometimes, the "novice" is a quick-learning, add-clearing, max-dps'ing, killing machine. You just never know.

The new raid is really easy imo and i dont really raid much anymore only have 8ish raids completed in d2 ...... vog had like 70+ lol

1 ReplyI'm just gonna put my 2 cents here. RNG has completed shafted my ass since Forsaken launched. I'm only 545 currently. However, I've tried not to let that hold me back. I've sought out people to HELP, not CARRY, me through the more powerful activities to get better gear. I first completed the nightfall at 520-ish. I first completed the 540 spider bounty at like 530. I completed the first encounter of the Last Wish raid at 535, with 4 others who had never done it, and we only wiped once due to confusion in callouts. I only died like three times tops despite being that low. I'm not an elitist by any means, but I can agree with their mentality in requiring that. Only the strong, dedicated people are gonna work to achieve endgame completions regardless of obstacles. And that's what you want in a group.

Thats about half or more of the damned challenge of the raids. and the other is the damned need shit to be perfect. Give us back VoG, its the perfect raid to me. Where a -blam!- up does not screw the whole run up.

17 Repliesplllllllleeeeeease explain to me how someone with 10+ completions is asking to be carried? also, just as an fyi, im one of those that does ask for others with completions. my reasoning? too many idiots that play this game and cant think fast and understand simple mechanics in this raid. but, i do bring usually 1 newbie and sherpa them through. just 1 though, im not dealing with mass chaos... no thanks

2 RepliesI know this is not raid related, but what I found funny just minutes after reset this week was for the Ascendant challenge that had just come out, people were asking for kwtd. It's a new challenge that just released 10 min ago, who would KWTD! LOL!

Once again as always we will repeat this MAKE. YOUR. OWN. POST. If u can't handle what other people want make your own team and set ur own standards. Personally I say -blam!- the people that suck so bad they need these requirements so I make my own teams. The raid isn't hard at all just yesterday we carried someone through for their first completion and it took like an hour and a half with breaks. Or if u want to just join them anyway I find they rarely check and unless they are huge assholes nothing would happen

1 ReplyI always post for people that has completions/emblems/kwtd, and i only join those types of groups. I have tried the other alternative but i have zero interest in doing a raid for three hours that should only take one hour.

1 ReplyAs always then start your own raid on lfg. I have 0 problems with people who make their own requirements. If they take the time to make the post,then they can post the requirements they want. Something clearly that the people who cry about it, dont. Go on lfg,make a post that says ,don't care if you ran the raid,don't care what your light is. Have fun at it.

[b]WORST[/b] thing is going into a group that doesnt betray they're elitists and they end up getting mad at whomever doesn't do their part perfectly. [b]THOSE [/b] are the shitty situations i like to avoid and LFG posts like that help me to avoid them in the first place.
