Ascendant challenge (week 5)
It’s located in the Bay of Drowned Wishes lost Sector , which is directly to your left when you spawn into the Divalian Mists. Pop your tincture and go through a little bit. About halfway in, not past the barricade, turn right and you’ll see the portal suspended in the air. Jump inside. The challenge this week is a little bit like follow the leader. Follow the little orb (Toland), jumping on platforms until you reach the bottom. When you do a message will appear “Toland beckons you” several small blights will spawn which slow your movement, along with two Yellow bar wizards. They will spawn thrall endlessly-take the wizards out with your super or heavy it doesn’t really matter. After they’re dead, you’ve completed the challenge! Good luck-it’s not a very difficult one this week.

Jumped with my titan from starting platform, to wizards platform. Not landing on the ground, but on the roof. Wizards spawning and I kill them easy with sleeper stimulant. My lightlv was still below 520. No thrall party, and taken orbs galore.

This has been the easiest one so far (I think) Warlock jump makes the first bit pretty easy, and quick super + sleeper lays the Wizards out pretty quick so it's pretty easy to solo too. Got a 548 Tigerspite too which was pretty nifty. Makes up for the third time I've received Ophidian Aspect in this DLC :P I'm really enjoying the Ascendent Challenges!

Path of the missle, run off the edge of the first platform aimed in the direction of the big ass lit up rotunda thingy below. As soon as your feet clear the edge hit the melee (no jump) and watch the real Titan shit go down. You'll land at the bosses basically instantly and finish it in a minute or two max. Edit: added a video bc some ppl asked about it.

4 RepliesEdited by mja calg: 10/4/2018 5:51:58 AMThanks. Did it with my Titan and Warlock. Gave up with my hunter after my 6th failure on the rotating rocks, even using the Stompees didn't help. You hit and bounce or in some cases I overshot. Side note, there are some Ahamkara bones in there too. When you jump onto the long sloped platform (it's the one before the first donut platform), walk up to the top of that ramp and on your right is a tree. The Bones are on the ground beside the tree.

2 RepliesAs a solo player, these ascendant challenges have been very rewarding to finish. I’m happy to see such a wide variety of challenging content in Forsaken. The last ascendant challenge took me hours to beat. Jumping puzzles on a Warlock have never been easy for me, and they make it so hard to see the platforms. This week’s was much easier, but still fun.

20 RepliesJust Youtube it lol. That's what Bungie designed it for anyway. 1. Make challenge and give answers to youtubers 2. People flock to that streamer 3. That streamer then advertises Destiny and Bungie caters to them. Repeat the cycle and the sheep are none the wiser.

If you can land on the top of the final area you can snipe the wizard at the edge of the roof. I just throw a grenade down and they came over so I could hit them then you don’t have to deal with the other enemies and the wizard have trouble hitting you

Yeah, I just wandered around for a bit. Without the Tincture, you can hear the portal making all its wooshy portal noises, so it's not hard to find
