Solo players are a scourge on this community
They are some of the most entitled people in this community.
"I can't play crucible!"
"I can't raid!"
"I can't do nightfall!"
"I can't do public events!"
"Why is that?"
"Cause I play solo"
Bungie has given you all the opportunity to find a group in lfg. You can try to find friends on your preferred system. You can use guided games. The excuse of being a solo player is just code for "I'm stubborn and don't want to find a group".
Sincerely, someone who does most in-game activities solo.

Solo players simply want matchmaking for all activities. Been asking for it for 4 years now and still waiting. I always compare this game to the Division. Same setup but the division blows destiny out of the water by giving ALL PLAYERS OPTIONS. Want to solo an incursion? Go for it Oh you got a group? Let’s do this Got half a group? Okay let’s matchmake for the other players. Man nobody wants to party up? No problem, proximity chat. Now we can instruct the players that don’t feel like communicating. Heck bungie still doesn’t have in-game LFG...lol like how is that even possible. Thankfully Xbox has that built into the user experience though. Simple systems that could make destiny a better experience for everybody. Bungie still struggles with finding simple things that work for everyone. It’s amazing to see really. I make no secret about it, I’m a solo player through and through. But when it’s time to tackle nightfalls I’ll get a group whether it’s clanmates or randoms. Haven’t been much of a raider though, only completed WOTM, a raid I found really fun. Last wish strikes me as a fun experience, so when I feel I’m strong enough I’ll get a group and go tackle that too. But I get how most solo players feel. Destiny wants you to make new friends yet provides you with very little options in doing so.

I play solo and have not had any problems, even beat TTK without a mic. Nothing wrong with having no friends that like Destiny, this game sucks ass to everyone else.

Load of balls. Having to use an app to find a group of ppl who will be your "friend" aslong as you are level 550 and "know what to do". It's no a social, or even sociable game.

My only issue with the game at the moment is masterwork cores and legendary mods.

i too am a solo player, i Yolo for Solo! and it hurts me and my community that you, as one of us, would post something like this! knowing well that we have trouble coping playing against other players online, we can not communicate due to our social anxiety issues, we are too busy trying to figure out what is going on, and what to do next and why people are shooting me, i mean us to pick up this glowing thing! you are a monster for shaming us, as being one of us, i have not had the courage to go on an LFG, because up to 5 minutes ago, i had to google what an LFG was! i thought it was the light version of the BFG in DOOM! which Rules! OMFG remember those creepers! whoaaaa, dude and when you fight the boss at the end! AMAZING but then they messed that up as well with these maps and demons and stuff that you have to play against other people! its MY game i PAID for it, well my mom did, but i mean, still, why should i make friends? i have a goldfish! its just terrible, when i see that there are people i play with who are in a Clan and i think they are all making fun of me. i then have to go shower and cry, after eating a bowl of oatmeal while shaving my head. anyway, point is you disappoint me and my, i mean our community! you should give me your gamertag so if i ever see you in the Real Destiny world i would rage quit immediately! Edit: wtf you even talking about public event? Public events are public. Everyone can do them. Even when you suckmor don't know what to do all you have to do in run into the area and bam! You are in the public event.

5 RepliesSolo players are not the only people who complain about things, but by complaining you're giving your claim at least a little bit of proof. Some people are not comfortable with talking to others, especially when "others" are people who act like you. Playing as a solo player definitely stops you from doing certain activities, but I've not once seen a person complain about it, because it's perfectly fair.

ATTENTION SALTY SOLO PLAYERS: Maybe instead of trying to ruin quickplay, Why don't you all work together and tell Bungie to add back the Freelance Playlist made for Soloplayers back in D1. I get most of you haven't played D1 but when you try to argue and suggest big changes without doing any research or digging next time do you're research.

4 RepliesOr, you know, we just want to enjoy the game on our own time and not rely on an inconsistent group of strangers to play with us. Raid, sure. Nightfall, sure. Those are activities designed with groups of people in mind. However for crucible, it allows people to enter solo, and instead of trying to find a balanced group of opponents, it matches full teams that are heavily communicating, against a random group of people that may not even have mics. It's not an enjoyable experience knowing that you have no chance of succeeding, simply because none of your friends are online.

I play solo I just choose not to play the raid and I have no problems with crucible or Gambit
