1 ReplyI left mine because of what happened last night. An admin hit me up asking if i would help with nightfall yesterday in the am while at work? I had run with him and the otherguy before. The otherguy more than the admin truthfully. Told both of them i had no mic. It was not a issue with them. In fact i had run nightfall with the other guy last week with no mic. So he knew. Well at the prearranged time no one shows but an hour or so later the other guy jumps on but on clanmember#3 fireteam. So i joined on the other guy since he hit me a pm asking about strikes before the nf. Where it went left for me is i can hear the other guy tell clanmember#3 he is going to send him a private party invite. So now we are running a strike and i can no longer hear what they are talking about through my tv. But really got me butt hurt is after the strike at the tower the admin joins the fireteam and i get a pm form the other guy saying they have 4 implying i should leave since they all have mics. Now the admin, other guy, and myself ran the pyramidion before, easy and we talked about bs. The need for a mic was none. Had they said that from the jump i would have had no issue but to cast me aside after you said its ok is shady to me. I didnt want destiny drama so i kept it to myself and backed out of the clan. Its not that serious really but your word should mean something.

Honestly, you're going to get that. I started my clan weeks ago and faced the same thing. I would kick people like that, matter fact I'm still kicking some for that. You have to set your expectation and hold them accountable for it. Before they join I let them know what to expect if you don't do XYZ and if they join they know. Eventually I got my core people and they hold the new ones accountable so I would say hang in there don't worry about quantity like most clan focus on quality and before you know it you will have a clan of good people. When I recruit if a person ask what level is the clan or ask if we get engram every week I move on our if I see that you only want a certain level clan or clan that get engrams I won't even entertain them. To me you only want the loot not the experience. Last but certainly not least be slow to pick your admins! Admins can kill the vibe of your clan if you choose wrong. Reward those that goes above and beyond for the clan to be your admins not the ones who asks. You'll be fine just don't give up. If you don't know reach out to other clan leaders and ask questions. I did got some good advice too!

1 ReplyTrue clan members and friends will stick with you. If they don’t, they are not clan material.

I got tired of not being in a clan and decided to make my own. I not only play Destiny, but other games as well. I'm a jack of all trades per sey. I'm real good at all genres of gaming, but not a Master of all. I don't care about K/D, light level, or if you're good or not. I just want people to play with and coordinate crucible matches with. People to raid with, and many other activities Destiny has planned for the future. It has open invite for now so even if you're just starting, come join and let's build a fun and active clan! I'd leave if I'm like the only one playing or if I ask for help and no one does. Hence why I'm leading my own clan.

well, my clan droped off the face of the eirth, they dont even play d2 now, they play fortnight or call of duty, i never see them on, and im the only one on, none of the activitys get done. i mean ill quit a clan if its dead. but it would be my first quit so far.

Where i come from, you just don't get priority, you earn it, doesn't matter if you have 10 Nightfall Prestiges' under your belt.
I’ve been in several clans where it seemed like there was no way to earn jack shit. I would message in the chat multiple times a day and go out of my way to try to get as involved as possible. It didn’t make a difference. They had their groups established, and I always ended up being treated like I was a second class citizen who was only in the clan to be a body and fill out the roster. The only times they did involve me was for dumb things like Call to Arms and Flashpoint. Never for Nightfalls or raids, even though I play as much or more than all of them. Being in the clan is useless, except for the free weekly engrams.

I recently started a clan, well two actually and have a third one planned for another platform and I've had people leave my main clan needless to say I was quite disheartened by it, but I implemented rewards for active members, and consquences for if they depart or abuse their roles from being promoted. Simple things like this give people something to consider. I used to be part of another clan before I began my own but maybe our clans can work together I'm lediperehodov on PSN so yeah the options there if you want it.

People have done this in my clan as well. Someone joins and then leaves hours later, I mean we aren't max level yet (clan wise), we just reached 4 last night. But it's really irritating when people do that. I, and other members are active in the clan chat on here, but that discord thing is actually a great idea. Mostly because not every guardian has their Bungie account set up, and join clans in game. My clan has 17 members, and the rules are simple, you just have to be active in the game and not be a jerk, I might add the discord thing too.

1 ReplyI have a level 20 titan and my power level is 260

5 RepliesI've noticed for my clan, it really helps having a discord server, and making it mandatory to join it. We tried to just have people join randomly in the beginning, but we noticed the same thing. A lot of leavers, and the folks who were commited, couldn't find anyone to play with. So we got a bit more organized, kicked inactive players, and made the discord a requirement. It's been SO much better. It does take a bit of work on the admin side to manage the clan requests and the discord, but so far for my clan it's been worth it. I hope you get some good long term members on your team!

We are an active clan looking for more fellow guardians to join us! There is no power level requirement or anything this clan is open to all! We are more than happy to help you with any level ups or help with strikes, raids, crucible, and so on! (Xbox one)
I guess from what I'm seeing, these players expect to join a level 6 clan with 30+ members and automatically be giving priority in the weekly events. Where i come from, you just don't get priority, you earn it, doesn't matter if you have 10 Nightfall Prestiges' under your belt.
It sounds like you have bad attitude toward fellow players. They join the clan to do the end game content and get clan-only loot. There's really no other reason to join up with a random stranger. If you're not allowing your clan to take part in activities, you shouldn't expect them to stay. They "earned" the right to do those things by buying the game. Further, sometimes a player just wants to play solo for a while and doesn't want to take part in group stuff.

I completely agree with you. I'm an admin for my clan and we've had the same kinda thing happen to us. It just doesn't make sense. Right now we have 19 people and do our best to play with everybody. Most of the time I play with the other clan members or people that help out my clan a lot. So I'll offer you the same kind of thing. If you'd like another clan to befriend and do things with then we can help. One of my friends does this. He has his own clan but he helps us all the time. So if you ever need help and your on Xbox live. Then shoot me a message.
