Fighting Lion is seriously the worst exotic weapon ever build.
Do you remember the video footage where Fighting Lion awesome Gjallarhorn stylish granade luncher killed 3 vex goblins in single blast?
Forget it, it cannot even kill with direct hit a single one vex goblin. The gun does no damage absolutely worthless exotic status.

I only use it from time to time in crucible, it's good for a quick shield knockdown and then blast them with your kinetic weapon, butttttt that's about it. All this thing needs is more rounds and a bigger clip.

After playing with it for a few days though, I have come to really like having it on me. So I played Destiny all the way through since year one -since players were cheesing Atheon to get their hands on the unstoppable Crucible God Gun: the Mythoclast. I never got a Gally to drop, didn't get to fire one until Xur sold it just 5 days before its massive nerf. Now, having been able to play infrequently for a few days, my very first exotic drop is an equally stunning beauty of a launcher. So I love it. And I am gonna make it work. I haven't found a shield yet that can survive a hit from it, regardless of its element type. Once the major/ultra's shield is gone, a power weapon's superior damage or a primary's bonus crit damage is a better tool for the job anyway. Its particularly good for trashing entire packs of War Beasts or Thralls in a single shot. And its incredible from behind a Titan's Rally Barricade, where ducking behind the barrier instantly reloads your weapon. -You can duck, aim, and fire. Then aim, and fire; and aim, and fire. And empty the entire 12 or so ammo reserves in about 10 seconds. In PVP, my best use for it has been as an opening move against an opponent. Bouncing a grenade around the corner before EVERY gunfight is great. It doesn't always hit, but any bonus damage is always welcome. And there's also a slight tactical advantage of being able to tell where the enemy is that got hit. Hate on it if you like, but its not a bad gun. Its just not the Gjallarhorn reborn as a Lion. Its not a nuker, not a finishing move, but an opening one. Its a shield crusher. A weapon that's meant to weaken enemies (shielded ones dramatically so), making them easier to finish off. --It even refills the mag if you kill a wounded enemy quickly. If you hate it, then that's cool. Exotics are very unique, and no single one (well at least not since the Gjallarhorn) is the best for everyone's play style.

I would take the uncommon 100% THATS HOW BAD THIS THING IS.

2 RepliesSMG does not hold enough ammo, just like all weapon slots. SMGs also need way more stability. Grenade launcher NEED to explode on impact. This skip stuff is just bad.

2 RepliesThat's what I was afraid of. The loot in this game has probably ALL been weakened like this in favor of PvP balance. Bungie is taking away all incentives to grind in their loot based game. Bizarre.

4 RepliesFighting lion was my first exotic engram drop in Destiny 2. Wow, an power weapon in the energy slot. Could have been like Universal Remote but instead its a No Land Beyond. :(

There are so many exotics now that they're like legendaries. A few amazing ones, some good ones, a lot of trash.

2 RepliesJust wait til you get your hands on the Skyburners Oath. Great concept, horrible follow through. Slow firing scout rifle that does less damage than any other scout I've used. I really want to use it, but it's just bad.

I do feel like it is a little underwhelming over all. You only get one grenade shot and enough to dish out some high damage. It's good in crucible for shooting around a corner but that is just firing blind with a low chance of hitting anyone. Maybe if the reload was faster it would offset it but something would have to change for me to use it much.
