Calibrating the mouse to make it 1:1 with your muscle memory is incredibly important for shooters. Right now Destiny 2 does offer sensitivity controls, however you can only change it in integers instead of more finer, accurate, decimal values. For example you can change the sensitivity from 5 to 6, not 5.10. I would greatly appreciate if Destiny 2 gave us more control over the sensitivity. I personally play at 800 dpi and adjust the sensitivity until I make a 360 turn from while moving the mouse from one side to the other.

Yeah, it's really annoying since I've been using the same sensitivity since Quake through Overwatch and I can't set it properly in D2.

Edited by KOPF: 8/28/2017 9:48:03 PMYeah. Closest I can get to my usual cm/360 is by downgrading my dpi and even then I am off by around 5cm. OW had the same problem at the start as well. The fact that the integer scale is limited to 100 and skewed for wrist breaking high sensitivity. For example, even the default of 15 in 800 dpi is ~12cm/360 (according to mouse-sensitivity.com), which is just ludicrous.

Edited by LaZeeNoVa: 8/30/2017 1:00:09 AMThe FoV is off as well which accounts for Muscle Memory aswell. 103 FoV is not actually 103 FoV. Fine tuning Sense could indeed me fixed with decimals

1 ReplyMy Feedback about the mouse sense settings: The mouse sensitivity setting is far too wide in the gaps between sensitivity settings for a shooter. What I mean by that is the 360 Distance of a mouse is influnced far too much by a movement of +/-1 in the mouse sensitivity setting, it needs a much larger range of input setting. For example: I'm a Quake Player, previously OW, CSGO, BlackOps3, and other shooters. In all of these games, I use the exact same non scoped 360 Distance, 12inches=360degrees. (800dpi). For me this is about Mouse Sensitivity 6, and it's about 8mm off of my true 360 distance. But if I change it to 5, my 360 distance is extended by 2 inches. 7 Reduces my 360 distance by almost 2 inches. This is way too inaccurate and big of a change for a PC game. Especially one that intends on having a competitive scene. Mouse sensitivity settings need to be able to be fine tuned. There needs to be a 2 place decimal added to the Sensitivity setting to allow players to fine tune their mouse sensitivity input. So someone can punch in 5.56 or 6.72 or something like that to achieve as close to their 360 distance in other games in this one. This is super important. Personally if the 6 setting was not so close to my natural 360 distance, the game would simply be unplayable for me. And this would extended to other players as well who have been playing FPS games for a long time and rely on transferring their settings from other games. Please Bungie increase the Accuracy of the Mouse sensitivity setting by at least 1 decimal place, and if you can at least 2 decimal places.

I agree I don't understand why this is not in a PC version even if it is just a beta right now. Beyond me as to why they wouldn't include a standard feature of PC games in a PC game.

Can you adjust your DPI?
