Good god that golden gun is absolutely terrible now..
No combustion.
No significant damage in pve. (Some red bar adds take 2 shots..really?)
Takes forever to charge and when it is finally time to drop the bomb you better find someone in 1.4 seconds or its all over.
As a Gunslinger main this really breaks my heart. Lets hope they fix this before launch...

As a D1 hunter main i almost don't want to play a hunter anymore because of this and the removal of blink. I used to destroy in PvP with blink alone. But now GG has gotten worse too!

Nova bomb and golden gun were the worse supers on the beta. Lots of people cried about arcstider but damn on pve arcstrider is awesome!

You have twice as many shots, so why would you expect them to do full damage? The other perk set is more geared towards PvE.

Its not hard to add 3-5 more seconds to the gg 6 shooter and i sont see why bungo wont but who knows. We dont know how regular gg performs yet which will obviously be more powerful and give more time to use. They cant give 6 gg shots and have them be as potent as the traditional without it being op. So just wait and see what happens cuz this is pre release build supposedly and release builds were quite different from what I saw and even 6 shooter looked like it lasted longer. Idk why they r having us test an old build though...very suspicious to me and worries me but have faith.

It could use a faster draw time though but not a big deal. As for damage while in the beta it was sad we don't know what the max light is and the enemies were 10 (I believe could be wrong here) light higher then use which is a huge deference just look at the raid at 390 to use at 400 adds can and bosses can be melted quickly so GG has some great. [spoiler]It would be nice to have some more time though along with a faster arc strider run speed[/spoiler]

it is meant to be used like in all the cowboy movies. There's like 4 people in front of you and you whip that shit out and kill them all with one tap. It does need a pve damage buff though.

Soooo true. I hardly to never use my GG in pvp. But when I activate it, it runs out so freakin' fast. I'll get lucky if I get 1 shot off. I mean jeez at least give me 2 more seconds or something so I can effectively use it.

i was horrible with the GG. i am a pretty good player, but i couldn't seem to make the super really count. i reduced it to just making sure a heavy elite died, instead of taking out a crowd.

Its not meant to be a roaming super. Thats what arc strider is for. PvP you line up the 4 opponents strategically and get for 4 kills, thats how I do it, never fails. That being said there was a locked node where golden gun has duration. Using golden gun in PvE was something I always questioned

Real gunslingers don't take forever. The super is actually built around what a gunslinger is like. Pull out a pistol and quickly kill the enemies. If it can't one shot red bars though, that is a problem.

1-yeah no combustion sucks I guess 2-they are addressing that for release for all supers/grenades. 3-for pvp i appreciate that to an extent, though i wouldnt mind 2 supers per match if your doing well. 4-the duration is due to the perk node. the tree sucks for pvp, if the damage was buffed itd be really good for pve though.

yea man i totally agree. when i jumped on the beta and switched to the golden gun (hate using the bladedancer) i was pist when it wasn't a one shot and especially how quick its super runs out once you pop it =.= still prefer using the hunter over all but why the heck? yea, 6 shots, but it isn't op anymore. the titan's hulk smash same thing, to me it looks like they added more smashes (and shots) because of people who panic strikes like dumb@$$es to do it more often and people who has no aim on the golden gun....idk if this dumb idea was bungie's or activision's
