I'm debating subscribing to PS Now and was just wondering from people who currently have it or used to have it, what their thoughts were.

3 RepliesEdited by PC Master Race: 7/21/2017 10:04:08 PMNah. It'd be cheaper and easier to buy a PS3 and all the games you want. Edit: 160GB version of PS3 is 100$ on amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B003VUO6H4/ref=mp_s_a_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1500674510&sr=8-9&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=ps3&dpPl=1&dpID=51Q2xrhtJWL&ref=plSrch

The name PS Now is ironic. I would not pay a subscription for something like that, but if you like the selection they have and want to try it out longer aside from the seven day trial go for it, pay for a month and see if it's worth it.
-
What's that
-
Nah, though could depend on how much your willing to spend
-
1 ReplyA PSVita is worth it
-
1 ReplyIt would probably be less hassle and more worth buying a PS3 and every game that ever existed for it instead
-
Hell no

If you use a ps3, sure.

They need to cut thier losses with the streaming thing and make it downloadable. The input lag, even when you're on a decent connection is too noticeable.
-
No. Don't do it. Waste of time and money. They should have just made the games available as a download. Would have made more money that way.
-
Holy -blam!- no jesus -blam!-ing christ no
-
. shouldn't be able to download it
-
No my experience with it was terrible.

2 RepliesEdited by NightMist: 7/20/2017 7:23:45 PMYou can do the Internet test before trying it and it will let you know if your's is good enough. It was fine for me. But I don't currently use it because there arn't enough ps4 games yet for me to jump back in and I'm done with ps3 games for now. Also it's always best to wait for the sale price of $100/yr which is the best overall value compared to paying monthly.
-
Right now, no. If there was a download option for the games then it would be worth it.
-
1 ReplyThere was extreme input delay and lag when I was using it to play ps3 games, but this was a while ago. It might be better now.

Edited by shell: 7/20/2017 8:23:39 PMThe first week is free. After that, the first month is only $10. Why not make your own decision? I think it's worth it, but don't subscribe forever. Cancel you subscription after you play everything you wanted to play. I don't know why people are saying you need really fast internet. It runs well on my PS4, and it only gets a measly 5mb/s.
-
PS Now makes sense if you are on a middling PC and have a great internet connection. Then you can play great games for a pretty good monthly price. For everyone else, just spend the money buying games that you can actually own.
-
I tried the 14 day free trial. I have excellent internet and still experienced lag issues. Was frustrating in single player mode. Can't imagine mp.
-
Do you have a fast internet connection? If no, then no. It's not worth it.
-
RTU says it's gotten way better, but I'm still not so sure. I'd wait until there's several must have games on it.
-
Unless you got real good internet, Id hold off. Its a good idea, but the internet infrastructure just isn't there. In the states at least.

If you have ok ping and want to maybe play on the pc maybe. MAYBE. Otherwise, trash.
